As usual the food was delicious. Tillie's lasagna is a favourite of mine and did not disappoint and the meatballs were top notch

First time eating here. Food was good, had the raviolis, except there was a piece of metal Brillo pad (scrubbie) in the vodka sauce. They took one drink off the bill, perhaps there should have been no charge for that plate? Also, please don't make the waitress apologize, it's not her fault. Whoever plated the food should have come out & apologized, it would have meant more. Food was pretty darn good but probably won't be eating here again since it is far away.

Tillie's has always been a special place, but lately it seems to be slipping. The menu has changed a bit and the kitchen is slow. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff attentive.

Cute little local cozy Italian restaurant that was recommended to us by locals, so we ordered takeout for the ride home. A little pricey ($14 for gnocchi in heavy meat sauce with 2 pieces of bread, no soup or salad) but you also pay more for homemade real food so didn't mind. Takeout was quickly ready, had to go back to ask for napkins and plastic ware, and the food was very good. Nice portion which definitely filled up 2 people, and the unique gnocchi were of different sizes and clearly rolled and hand cut. A few other interesting items on the menu that we would try if are back in the area. Give it a try.

My family has been going to this restaurant since it opened. Being an Italian, I am partial to a lot of Italian establishments. This place has good prices, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Their pasta and their sauce is fantastic. All of their food is really fantastic. I love their gnocchi and usually always get it when i go there. If I could give this more than 5 out of 5 star rating I would.

Yum! Very crowded. Had reservations and still waited 20 min to be seated. Food made it worth while!

If you enjoy Itailian cuisine this is definitely the restaurant for you. A little pricey but the portions are substantial and the quality of food is worthy of the price.

Always excellent food and service. Really good Italian food for a local mom and pop restaurant. Been going there for years!

I come here when I visit family, and it has a big enough menu that each of us can order something different and not have to worry about it being bad. Both their pasta and their sauces are some of the better ones that I have had, and they have always served our big parties of 10+ really well.

Best prep of chicken parm Milanese I have ever had. Dipped each piece in 2 different sauces. One buttery and one tomato. Loved every bite. Also our group had plenty of bread to share which was delish, and a couple tasty appetizers. We had lunch portions- did not eat again that day-stuffed!

First time there with a friend. Everything was absolutely amazing. She told me the lasagna was the best and she was right. As were the Chicken Parmesan and the meatballs

Whomever the chef is for this restaurant has blessed fingers.I am never disappointed when I come here .The only problem I have when I come is there baked potatoes need to be heated at a hotter temperature which was an easy fix. Other than that, superb food. One of the best authentic Italian restaurants in Pittsburgh to date.

Hadn't been there in so many years. Wanted a classic Italian meal. Best anywhere, wasn't disappointed! You deserve to try it!

This is what I would call a diamond in the rough!! Absolutely amazing food. Definitely a little pricey but it is a great date night or special occasion place.

Tillies is always good, my party always gets their traditional-styled wedding soup, their trio gnocchi, lasagna and chicken alfredo, and my own personal combination of alfredo and fried chicken with their own delicious sauce. 10/10 would always come again.
