Thumbs Up

I’ve been to this Thumbs Up Diner many times. I’m surprised I’ve never left a review. I have never had a bad meal here. There is always a wait so be prepared to wait. It’s a cash only place so don’t forget to bring your cash. Parking can also be a bit tough and parking in the Bank of America parking lot can get your towed. Ok now for the food. The coffee is great. I always get the skillet heap of potatoes and it’s a lot of food. This time I ordered the two tacos because I wanted a smaller meal but it was a large portion. The tacos were good and the potatoes definitely outshined the tacos. My parter ordered the catfish and grits and he loves it. You will not have a bad meal here. You get the diner vibe and the amazing food for very little.

Whole grain biscuits large delicious pancakes nicely cooked skillet dish what else do you want? I had the country sausage skillet with potatoes and eggs. He had the Denver omelette. Everything was good but the pancakes had a yummy homemade flavor. Service was attentive.

In town for Emory debate tournament.. Stopped had lunch. Delicious!! Also, accidentally left my key on the table and my amazing waiter found me next door at the barber shop to make sure my lee was returned .. Definitely come back next time in town

They atmosphere is great. I love that they kept the traditional cash only aspects of a diner. I love that they have an ATM in their establishment. The food was incredible and the service was great. I'd definitely refer this place to anyone.

Had this great big skillet filled with potatoes, cheese eggs and bacon. (That pic with the toast). My bro had a nice looking omelette. Good food at not terrible prices. They are cash only though so keep that in mind. ;)

A great breakfast spot food was delicious and it was alot of food. My good friend Crystal took me too breakfast for my birthday

This place was a wonderful splash of morning glory for me and my three kids after dropping their mom off at the airport. Big portions, lots of sweetness in French toast, copious coffee . . . Just what we needed as a pick-us-up until mommy returns!!

I ordered a tuna melt with sweet potato fries. It was delicious. The best tuna melt I've had before. I'm happy to have delicious food. I'm in town for a week and my cousin recommended this place to me. I'm happy I checked it out. The only negative is the parking is limited.

I love the food. I've never seen a time when they aren't busy. That's a testament to the quality of the food. My only complaint is that it is cash only and I love earning my points. Most restaurants that claim to serve vegetarians offer a salad or a black bean burger. There are so many options. If you don't have a car they are less than a block away from the east point train station.

Food was great, cool place, I truly wish they would accept credit cards. However, they do have a ATM machine

Wonderful, delicious, rich tasting food. Everything was well seasoned and the waffles were just right. I had the wings and waffles which came with 3 smoked wings, a waffle and two eggs. I got grits on the side. You can substitute items for an additional charge. There was a 40 minute wait but it was well worth it. The food selection was great and even my 8 year old nephew found something he loved. A definite place you should try.

My entire family loves this place. From New York, every time we visit Atl we must show thumbs up love. Sassy scrambled egg are a must try. They have several locations but East Point is my favorite despite the parking. Not just a breakfast spot they have burgers, fries, soups, salads and more.

A typical eclectic neighborhood eatery. Biscuits were great. Nice coffee. Very small so expect a wait.

Best breakfast ever! I had fish eggs and potato with shrimp. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast. The name says it all. 2 thumbs up!
