The Wonder Bar

If your looking for a quintessential view of Jersey Shore history, visit Wonder Bar. Probably one of the best sound systems on the shore and the best technicians. Any band or performer playing here will be delighted with the acoustic quality of their instruments and vocals. The bar is modern but a throwback atmosphere. Prices are average for a music venue like this. Also a local hang out for dog lovers at " happy hour". Put this on your list of Jersey Shore "go to's"

What?! A dog park bar that's right off the boardwalk?! And a giant mural of the infamous Tilly?? This place was so awesome. Good service at the bar outside. It was so much fun hanging out with the dogs and watching "security" stop dogs from getting aggressive with each other. You could really just get a drink and let your dog socialize without a worry.

Great bartenders,very good hamburger even though we were there rather late. Made fresh very good qulity. The band the night we were there was kicking out some great R&B. I'll be back.

Not for serious musicians or listeners. It’s ok: everyone yaks during the music and has a good time, including the members of the local band that was going on next. Just FYI. The sound check guy a perfect fit for the place: engrossed in his phone, absent for entire songs, noted “what can I say? It’s a music venue” when I kept getting driven back from the music by the shrillness of the lead singer’s high notes. It was the sound, it wasn’t the singer’s fault. Sound check guy: back to his phone. Other staff at the bar great and drinks fairly priced.

Wonder Bar is always a good time. Attentive bar tenders, decent pricing for Asbury.

Iconic music spot!! Must visit if local

We spent the day at Asbury Park and knew we couldn't pass up this venue. We are dog lovers, and while we couldn't bring our pups along today, we arrived in time for Yappy Hour. What a fantastic idea! We were able to relax a bit from a day of walking, enjoy a refreshment, and watch all the wonderful doggos.

One of the best burgers around and excellant staff..

Stopped here with some friends to pregame before a show at the Stone Pony which is only few blocks away... There was a good crowd and the bartender was not only on point with our drinks but threw us some free food when a mistake order came out... I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Asbury

Great bar. Also they have yappy hour. Its an event where you can bring your dog to play with others. Must bring proof of shots.
