Neat, chill spot that's kind of hidden with great cocktails but expensive whiskey prices

Dark, quiet upper level bar. Cozy and intimate place for getting a cocktail. Hard to notice from the street and you can easily walk right by it without noticing it. Drinks were really good and so was the service. I will definitely be coming back.I came back several more times and I have to say that I am really impressed with the quality of the bartenders and cocktail crafting that they do. For a high end result without the high end price come here.

Awesome little spot. Our server was awesome. The only thing that I did not like is that they don't allow ordering at the bar. On a busy night it could take forever to get a drink.

This place is amazing! Bar tender woman was so talented. It was a wonder watching her work. Best live jazz we saw in the city.

Had a very enjoyable night with an extremely knowledgeable bartender, Gus. Tip him well - he's a magician with bottles!

Some of the kindest staff I've encountered. Two guys named Andy served us. Night was slower, made for a good atmosphere. Flights of whiskey available. Happy hour from 4-8 I believe. Not sure why there is a native American statue, but eclectic vibes for sure with some really neat lighting, old brick, and story above.

Had a great time in a low key setting on a Saturday night. My friend loved her whiskey cocktails and our server made me delicious gin drinks (cucumber mint Collins, and a gin & ginger) Can't wait to go back.

Loved it! Crazy amount of bourbon, whisky and scotch selections. If you seek rare or high end drinks that you can't find yourself or locally, come here. And yes, they have gin, vodka, beer and wine for those who don't drink whisky!

Hands down my favorite bar in Downtown Detroit. Live music on Saturday nights, great playlists the rest of the time. Even when it's busy it doesn't feel cramped. Intimate, cozy & mysterious at times. It almost feels like a speakeasy. The whiskey selection is massive, so your best bet is to order a flight & tell the bartender what you normally drink so they can build customized to your taste. They haven't steered me wrong yet.

Came here for happy hour on a Thursday. Not very crowded. The whisky sour was excellent. Also ordered the seasoned fries, which were pretty bland if you ask me. But decent for bar food. The service was pretty good as well. Would come back.

Questions & Answers

Maybe not because it seems more of an intimate bar more than a restaurant... when i visited i was seated in the upper level. They do serve food but i wouldn't recommend it for someone who isn't 21 and or someone who can't drink... nice, low key, small joint for a very mature mild mannered crowd... jazz on specific Saturday nights. Nice staff.

Nope

There is street parking down Congress or a garage for $10 before campus martius on Congress.

I often have luck on Congress. If street parking isn't available, there's a $10 lot about 2 blocks before whiskey parlour.

No tv's.
