Pure Florida funk. Great place for seafood. Come as you are. Right off the beach. Casual, laid back atmosphere. Been coming here for over 20 years and it hasn’t changed a bit.

I take my family to this place often! This is my favorite spot to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot many times. The cooking is excellent, the workers are courteous and the payment is reasonable. I like eating in this spot over a rich lunch.

I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is great and the team is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we have a gorgeous evening. highly recommended.

Was here in Jan 2020, really enjoyed the place. Food was very good, staff really friendly. I didn't know at the time it would be such a long time till I got to be in a restaurant again. Deerfield was a great experience and the whales rib is a really cool spot.

They Started take out two weeks ago. Last week of ipswich clams were nice size, fresh. Clean oil. Today, dried out, old oil. Cold, Homemade potato chips Were wet and soggy. For $26.00. I will not go back for a long time I’ll try again next year. I’m done with them for this year. Will not go back. Now I see why there’s other restaurants in the surrounding areas that serve Ipswich clams.

Went for lunch and were lucky enough to get a seat outside. Staff was super friendly, efficient and beyond helpful with recommendations. Started with the whale fries, which are not fries but homemade potatoe chips and they are fantastic. We then went with a dolphin and a blackened chicken sandwiches. Both were cooked to perfection on what tasted like homemade buns. Great all the way around.

Love! Love! LOVE!! The Whale's Rib!!!! I ate here four years ago. I had to be sure to eat here again. Their food is amazing. Their prices are good too. The staff... What can I say?? They are the absolute best!! ❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. This is definitely a place you can go by yourself, and you will NOT be alone. That's what I did. Everyone made me feel so welcome; from the hostess to ALL the servers. Of course only the best customers eat here. We were sharing appetizers and having a great evening. Everybody is friends here. I can't wait to come back again. Thank you to the best staff for an amazing evening!!

Food and atmosphere were great. We got a lot of different things to share. One of our favorites was the whale fries with whale juice!! Will definitely go back when in town again

Always a wait but totally worth being patient. The servings are HUGE but everything is wonderful! I have been here twice during business travel...best place on the block for great quality and reasonably priced food and drinks. Take a walk on the beach path after lunch or dinner to walk off all the calories.

Just reopened. We went today. Everyone wore masks and social distanced. I felt very comfortable and safe with the table setup. Still great food and service. They sanatized the tables and seats between customers.

I’ve been coming here for a couple months now and really appreciate this place for what it is. They cater to the tourists for sure but I would call this a locals place. All the employees make me feel comfortable and like it’s great to have me. I especially appreciate Danielle and Jade; both excellent bartenders who are genuinely kind and engage on a personal level. Don’t think I’ve ever had better service. The back of house also puts out some some excellent food; thank you guys! Don’t pass this place up

Very nice but food was tasteless. Everything is fried and tastes the same. Overrated. Tourist only.
