At the Village Bakery we create products that people love while “baking a difference” in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Located in downtown Oregon, IL, we offer fresh baked goods, delicious coffees, mouth-watering soups and sandwiches. But our mission runs deeper than good food – we are creating meaningful, community based work for men and women with developmental disabilities. The goal is to instill our men and women with the confidence to work in front of the public and competence to do it well. People with disabilities can have an active and meaningful role in today’s world – they just need a chance. Thank you for helping us “bake a difference” in so many lives.

This bakery is delicious! The coffee is so good here, and the staff is very friendly! It's perfect for a quick cup of java and a donut, or you can get a nice latte and a bagel and catch up with a friend. They make great baked goods and the whole place is really quite spacious. There's a fireplace you can sit by when it's chilly out and overall is incredibly clean and tidy. A++ I love this place!

We live about 40 miles away from the Village Bakery, but stop in whenever we are in Oregon to support them. Great choices for baked goods and excellent coffee. We love the "possibilities" of their wonderful staff!

The wait is longer than a normal coffee shop but the staff more than makes up for it. But to mention their pastries are amazing.
