I really enjoyed the atmosphere and space and appreciate the seating space. Overall layout is awesome. Bands were awesome as well. Great for a large amount of people as there is room to move about. Outdoor seating was a plus. The reason I give this a three out of five is the hot dogs are 7 bucks but they are like 50 cent small dogs. Toppings were great, chilli is pretty spicy. Price to cost just didn't match. I wish we tried some sausage though, maybe it would of got a four,next time though.

Good beer selection, and they have a house-made vegan sausage - that's the only main course vegan option, but it's pretty tasty!Pretty typical tavern ambiance, comfortable and not pretentious. The heat works in the winter, but it's hot in the summer.

Great outdoor area if you have pets. It's a very considerate spot with a water bowl. Good selection of beer. We had the sausage sample platter and split it between the two of us, that worked out to be enough food for lunch. Great menu with some non-sausage/dog options. Friendly staff. Also a cool spot at night.

Great food! You can smell it from down the block. They even give vegetarian options. Perfect for indoor or outdoor atmosphere. Live music and of course the long list of local craft beers

This place is incredible! Their food is amazing. Get in here, grab two dogs and one of their awesome local Maine beers. Then kick back and prepare to enjoy the S#i$ out of yourself because the vibe in this place embodies all of what Portland is about. The staff is super awesome too. Great people. Get in here and imbibe. I dig the pig.

This place is awesome! I came here on a weekday in the winter and it was very warm and welcoming. The crowd there was very friendly. Service was excellent and fast, and the hot dogs are FANTASTIC! I tried two different varieties and they were both delicious. I also recommend the house made pickles and the pretzel. They sell cookies here too!

We walk into the Thirsty Pig- there's a one man band playing, taps of local beer, local made sausage, and Beverly Hills Ninja is playing on the TV. I ask if I can live there permanently; the bartender says no, unfortunately. But given the option, I'd move there. THAT'S how good this place is!If you're in Portland for vacation or even just a weekend, this is a must-go. Great food, great beer, lovely atmosphere, and very friendly staff. You'll be glad you stopped in!

The space is small and cramped and you don't get much food for what you pay. That aside, the staff is super friendly and they were playing a movie where you get to see Patrick Swayze's butt, so not a total loss.
