The Taproom by Hellbent Brewing

I’ve been in multiple times prior to this review, Thea made me the best prickly pear cucumber martini out of any one I’ve been served from. Would definitely recommend this drink if she’s behind the bar! 10/10!

The Kolsch was pretty good & helped the day round out. The BLT looked amazing. I didn't try their food but McHubby had the sandwich. Small menu but lots of beers on tap and a full bar!! Friendly service too 🍺

Update: Removed a star because our server left the table before we were done ordering our beverages. We had to wait and order the rest of our drinks and our food after a few other tables who arrived after us. She seemed irritated that she had to serve our table at all. If you like sweet cocktails or drinks, this is not the place for you. I tried the mimosa and sangria. Both were too winey and dry for me. The mimosa tasted like beer in orange juice. The server said those were the sweetest drinks they serve. The house made rootbeer is very tasty and best served without ice. We tried several appetizers: the spinach dip with bread and chips was amazing with lots of melty cheese. The BBQ wings were also very good and tender. My friend loved her mac & cheese. The French dip sandwich is awesome with plenty of au jus. It is loaded with beef, cheese, onion, and mushrooms. The roasted veggie side is awesome, I could eat that for my meal. My husband got a cheeseburger and said that he liked the sauce and the burger was good. It is served on a roll, so they hand shape it to the roll, which is fun. He loved the chips especially dipped in my aujus. My friends BLT came on a rustic looking toasted bread. She said the bacon was just the perfect crispy and lots of flavor. She was excited that it was big enough that she had lunch for the next day. For desert, we tried the fried churro cream cheese bites that were covered in cinnamon sugar. They were little bites of heaven. The chocolate sauce was a bit too thin and drippy for dipping. It tasted like a really good hot chocolate, though.

Upon walking in and seeing the restaurant for the first time, I instantly had a good feeling. The aesthetic of the environment was 10/10. Beer was nice and refreshing. And the food was amazing! Staff was friendly and very time efficient. We didn’t wait long for anything but also didn’t feel like staff was overly in our business. Place was clean and kid friendly.

My toddler and I stopped by this place for brunch. The waitress was quick to seat us down and gave us the menu. I got myself a breakfast hoagie, which basically is toasted hoagie roll stuffed with egg, sausage, and tomato. I got my toddler Mac & Cheese and Pizookie, which is big chocolate chip cookie baked like a pie and topped with vanilla ice-cream. I'm not a big fan of the Mac & Cheese because it isn't very creamy. I thought it was rather dry. I wish there would be more cheese sauce mixed in. Though, the Pizookie was a hit with my toddler. The big chocolate cookie was baked warm, and the vanilla ice-cream melted on top = who would wanna reject that? It was Wednesday morning when we stopped by, so it was pretty slow with few guests stopped by for a drink at the bar. I'd say come Friday and Saturday, this restaurant would be poppin' with all the customers. I would rather like slow restaurants than crowded restaurant at that point, especially if I have a little kid with me.

Weird food for a brewery, but it’s Seattle based, so go figure. Ordered veggie rice bowl. Supposed to have curried cauliflower. None. Perhaps a half cup of rice at the bottom of a bowl of lettuce and cucumbers. Soft boiled egg that was hard boiled. Awful! Wanted to add chicken - they were “out of chicken.” How are you out of chicken? This place is unacceptable. Will never go back. We were excited for this place. What a disappointment!

Excellent pub food and craft beers. Staff is friendly and courteous.

Food tasted amazing and the service was kind of slow but good nonetheless. The atmosphere here is great as it is part of the Pybus Public Maeket.

Their beer and food is great. The pork belly Reuben was awesome. I recommend the All Spruced Up beer. Great service and atmosphere

I tried the pork belly reuben and the french dip, the reuben was delicious, and the french dip was one of the best I've had. Highly recommended!

Nice joint with unique drinks, cocktails & beer. Wasn't over the top with noise but busy enough to people watch & relax.

Staff is attentive and quick! The Spicy Pork Belly bowl is 10/10 every time! Veggie bowl is also amazing, I just remove the kimchi (not a fan of kimchi). The Siracha aïoli is fire!
