If you are looking to eat here FORGET IT... On Oct 12 1973 my wife and I were married and the first dinner she and I had was at the Tangier.. I called today to get reservations for our 46th anniversary and guess what? You can't go there just to eat anymore, you have to go to a show or be in a wedding party. They don't serve dinners to the public anymore.. I always thought about going back for a special occasion.. well that won't happen.. It's terrible... I hope they close and a different restaurant goes in.. one that likes to serve regular people..

Have only been to special events here. The selection of appetizers and desserts was varied in terms of quality. This could have been based on selection by host organizations. The Tangier is a special Akron landmark that brings an opulent twist to the surrounding area. Worth a visit for any reason.

Went here to see 1964 the tribute(Beatles). We had a great dinner in an incredible facility, before the concert. Food was great, dining room was beautiful and unique, and the concert venue was intimate, comfortable and extremely enjoyable.

Great place to go to watch different bands, seem to have about 10 different venues inside. The food is good the drinks are normal. The staff and everybody else seems to be great. They got their own parking lot with four different levels.. Fun place to stop..

Awesome experience. Went for a wedding reception. The event center is like a museum of entertainment history. We walked the hallways enamored with the photos displayed of past entertainers. The whole evening was wonderful. The meal and entertainment was outstanding!
