This restaurant gives superb service as well as enjoyable meals. The best restaurant ever. The food and drinks came out quickly and the rates are economical. Recommended.

This place was popping on a Saturday night with all sorts of people! Who can blame anyone for waiting. ..super friendly staff, delicious seafood and a sushi bar. You can see the line cooks working through the glass windows. They can accommodate special diets . Free parking. This close to 5 stars because I need to try more dishes!

The Sole is our neighborhood go to, and we have lots of terrific options. The bar is especially a standout, although the service all around is consistent and high quality. I don’t bother ordering seafood anywhere else unless I’m standing on the water. They have a gluten free menu with extensive choices. Love the Sole!

My guests and I had a wonderful experience. I had made reservations and we were seated on time. All three of us thought the food (meat, seafood, vegetables, salads, and desserts) were delicious. Our servers (Carmen and Amy) were friendly, helpful, professional, and efficient. I enthusiastically recommend the Sole Proprietor in Worcester, MA!

This is a fantastic place with great food offerings. When I was an administered assistant at Allegro Microsystems, I'd book this restaurant for our Japanese clients. I've been here in the past and have had wonderful experiences. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a great fish dinner offerings. The atmosphere is great too.

We all have our bad moments, but how do we deal with them? We have become accustomed to terrific food and excellent service at the Sole Proprietor. But last night something happened and my dinner did not come out quite the way it should have. As soon as the waiter found out he acted quickly, politely and graciously. Not only did they prepare another meal (and it came out perfectly) but they did so quickly. Both the waiter and manager were attentive and apologetic. On top of that they also did not charge for meal. Way above and beyond my expectations.They did the Right Thing and with grace!Thank you Sole Proprietor.

We love going out. Last night we found this excellent place which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with exceptional dishes and a professional stuff and a talented chef. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall no doubt go again very soon. We warmly recommend.

As always, the food is delicious. My salmon was warm and tasty on the salad, which had strawberries and pine nuts. Lunch is always good and inexpensive at the Sole!

Really good sea food. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Overpriced, underwhelmed.Several good things to report - reservation process, parking, and primary server all very good. Tuna was also really good. Sole mediocre, actually disappointing. Spinach completely overpowered by cooking oil. Caesar salad can not compare to Legal Seafood, not even close. Team server concept more problematic than impressive, duplicate drink orders. Simply overpriced and disappointing. Not worth a second chance. Legal Seafood beats Sole Proprietor on every level.

Been coming for over 20 years and still one of my favorite restaurants not only in Worcester, but the entire northeast. Fish is fresh and tasty, chowder is delicious, shrimp and apps are always great. Nice atmosphere but it can get very crowded and noisy. Only real downside is the somewhat limited parking spaces and lot that’s tough to navigate during peak hours. Highly recommended!!!

Food was amazing, extremely fresh and well prepared. Now the bad, staff while friendly and attentive lacked proper restaurant food and drink etiquette. It was observed not just at my table but others as well, drinks coming to the table with unwrapped straws already placed in them and when plecing plates staff would often place fingers on the upper surface of the plate not in the food but near it. It gave a sense of uncleanness.

Despite the wonderful experiences I keep getting here, I never remember to take a picture of my food!! Seafood is inherently expensive so don't expect a cheap meal, but sushi prices are pretty similar to any other place serving sushi. My partner and I came here most recently during restaurant week and had a thoroughly pleasant meal with a kind waitress. Highly recommend for any and all who love seafood (even those who don't!)

Very good place, casual, friendly staff, with excellent food. Had the black & blue swordfish with Brussels sprouts w bacon and cheesey mashed potato. Other dish at tge table was sole meunière. Both really tasty. Teo nice white wines too.

Great ambiance!! A bit busy when I went but was able to get a seat within a few minutes without a reservation.Clam chowder was average. The blueberry mixed cocktail was pretty good. The seafood sauté was excellent!! It has shrimp, scallops, and crab along with a unique black pasta. The black pasta gave it an elegant visual appeal in the presentation. Everything tastes fresh. I don’t usually eat pasta, however this pasta tasted freshly made.Excellent fine dining experience!
