I love the salty crab. It’s a must try for people who are visiting. Every time I’m at Fort Myers beach, I come here for a rum runner and an appetizer. I’m giving four stars instead of 5 because it’s a bit disorganized. They are always packed, which makes it hard to get timely service or find a server, other than that, it’s amazing! The best place and drinks on fort Myers beach by far!

Really good mahi and grouper fish tacos with quality ingredients! Great location for lunch on the beach. There was a weird rule about not putting our appetizer in before our entrees, and we ended up getting our entrees first but the manager took the app off our bill, which we appreciated. Overall enjoyable atmosphere and really good fish tacos!

One of my favorite places on the island. Good food, lots of options and good drinks. Plus, you can sit and eat with your toes in the sand. The Rum Buckets are great.

Excellent crab legs! Some of the best I have had in a while. There was a special for $32.99 for a pound and a half of crab legs with 2 sides. I highly recommend the Caribbean corn as well! They also had a deal for $12 rum buckets that were really good. Also the appetizers were amazing. We had oysters "crabafella" and the crab/spinich dip, both were so good! I highly recommend stopping here for food or drinks or both! Everything we had here was fantastic!

Best seafood joint on the island. I had a combo platter with calamari, grouper, and shrimp. Tartar sauce was great with some dill in it. Cocktail sauce was horseradish filled too. Great. You can sit right on the beach and drink a rum bucket too! We were down on vacation from Chicago. This place is a must try.

Best location ever, you literally seat on Fort Myers beach sand in vary informal and funny experience. Live music, good appetizers and many beer options (as cold as has to be). Suggestion of fried calamari and cod fish and chips.

Walking the beach and four of us wanted to stop in for a few drinks. There were plenty of open tables available. Coming in off beach I was asked to check in at hostess table, but after waiting in line I was told they were only seating dining guests. The bar was full so that was not an option. I let her know we are fine with any table and I can get drinks at the bar myself, but would like to have one of their tables. I was turned away. Really? They turned away paying customers when it was clear they had room for us. It's a shame they treated us that way as it looks to be a nice place.

Amazing food, beautifully set against the beach. Indoor and outdoor seating with lots of lights amd beach themed decorations add to the environment.However..... Waitress gave us our drinks and never refilled, even saying when our food came out she was going to bring us full cups, she never did. Also never checked on how we were doing or if we needed anything. Our ketchup bottle was empty so we took the empty table beside ours. The place wasnt even busy so no excuse for that. I believe her name was Nikki and I really hope her service is better to others. To add the bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels. This seems unacceptable for a place of such potential. Will likely never be back but I really enjoyed the food.

We decided on dinner here for our anniversary! This ended up being a great choice! Our server was friendly and energetic! We were seated out on the sand area, and despite the cold and night sky, it was amazing! The food was awesome! We had crab and spinach dip and shared a shrimp Alfredo pasta dish! Our drinks were as yummy as the names of them made it sound! I would definitely recommend eating at the “Salty Crab” if you find yourself in the area! You will NOT be disappointed!

Great location. Great server(Austin). great comfort foods (fish and chips, chicken on salad) great prices. Enjoyable live entertainment ( be sure to clap and tip, if you like them...) It is our new, "go to" place. Vs..the other place, close by...(worth the extra walk)...ENJOY!!!!

Went for dinner and waited quite a while for a table, which was understandable because we had a large group and it was raining so they lost a lot of seating. Service was slow and our waitress Amanda couldn't seem to keep anything straight. Those that got seafood were relatively pleased, the rest of the food was just ehhh. Some of it was over cooked and some of it was cold. We also went for breakfast one morning and everyone had great food, good Mimosas and Bloody Mary's.

We have had breakfast here three times, a table in the beach sand, or on the deck if you prefer. Dolphins went by this morning, along with a lovely fog hanging over the water. Breakfast for two, less than $25, plus the tip. Frankly, the gulf view and people watching are worth that! Plan at least an hour for breakfast, between the relaxed serving style and the views, we are closer to an hour and a half. We highly recommend!

This place is AWESOME. Great food for a fair price. Our server Marissa was the best. This is now one of my FAVORITE places.

I loved this place. The food was very good. The drinks were refreshing and some proceeds went to charity. We sat on the beach with our toes in the sand. Our server (I so wish I could remember her name) was amazing, I mean some of the best service I ever had....ever. We will definitely be back.

We left after the host dropped a menu on the ground and another staff picked it up and put it on a table. I doubt they train people in safe and sanitary procedures.
