The Rich Uncle Tavern

Came here with my family for a birthday celebration. The food was great and everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the mushroom wood-fired toast and the soup of the day since I wasn't too hungry and wanted to leave room for dessert. However, it was still very filling. The topping was a mix of cream, herbs and absolute deliciousness. I was very much looking forward to the dessert menu and I must say that it didn't disappoint. We ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Chocolate & Raspberey. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel like you're actually in a tavern, but in a sophisticated way. The upstairs is perfect if you're going to just grab a few drinks and some small bites. They have live music, nice couches and a wall of bookcase.

Great pub in downtown Kitchener Ontario. Ambiance was a typical brew pub atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. I had the burger and tomato soup.The burger came with a bacon jam which was absolutely great!Tomato soup was also very good. Definitely worth trying.

Attended a private function in the upstairs space here. It is a great venue for parties. Lots of bar space on one side and lots of room for food on the other. Staff and service we're great, also.
