The Ribbon

About

The Upper West Side favorite, The Ribbon, has now opened in the theater district in an elegant setting that pays homage to old New York. The menu is signature Bromberg Brothers, utilizing their eclectic take on traditional dishes with highlights including spit-roasted meats and the raw bar featuring oysters, clams, king crab, lobster and caviar, as well as lots of great items for theater bound kids. The extensive bar program features over 98 whiskeys, a 117-bottle wine list and craft cocktails. A live DJ and weekend party brunch add the perfect vibes to this Midtown spot.

The Ribbon was great! Good food and an amazing environment! The service was very good and the menu left me disappointed but only because I couldn't order everything! The oysters were amazing but the salmon was just okay. The decor really made the experience! Real books on the shelf and great accent lighting.

Just opened in Jan. Great space. Very pretty. Great light fixtures. Awesome service. Lots of TVs for sports. Tried the vegetable risotto. It was awesome. Great drinks. Liked the trivial pursuit in the bar area. A little pricey.

This place was great. The greeter guy even pretended I hadn't just been in (I was early for a works dinner with my new boss) when I (re)turned up fashionably late. I would definitely get more drunk here if I hadn't been with work people. Loved it.

Questions & Answers

No

Yes. From the street it is. It does have heavy doors so some assistance may be necessary there. Otherwise there is a ramp and an elevator up to the dining floor.
