This place was lovely! We joined some friends staying at the bed and breakfast for a late breakfast at the inn, and wow! That place is gorgeous! I ordered the crabcake benedict and the eggs were poached perfectly. The flavor was really good, but I will say there wasn't an actual crabcake, but rather just crabmeat on the english muffin. The restaurant also looked so quaint, yet sophisticated (we accidentally walked through there when we were trying to locate the inn). I would love to have dinner here sometime as well!

Beyond AMAZING from the Drinks, to the comp donuts, to the food. Exceptional quality, Exceptional Service, Pleasant and Relaxing Atmosphere, Out of the Box Culinary Creativity. Food the way it SHOULD BE. If you are Chain / Fake Food lover this is NOT the place for you. Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you 411 York for doing it right.

Always noticed the signage heading into Norfolk and finally had the chance to stop in for a late bite. Staff was friendly, food was well portioned and I would highly recommend. Great ambiance.

Reservations highly recommended unless you prefer bar seating. Great staff that is friendly and knowledgeable about menu. Small menu allows for consistency and perfection across all food choices. Stuffed calamari was unique and flavorful complimented with a crudo appetizer. Free range chicken was baked to perfection. Will definitely dine there again to try some of the other menu items.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. Reservations are a must. I give the atmosphere and drinks a 10/10. The staff was amazing and made our experience very pleasant. However, we were quite displeased with our food experience. Unfortunately, the pasta and the risotto were house made and poorly prepared. The fettuccine Alfredo sauce was exquisite and unique. The scallops, while they were very fresh, they were bland. The risotto was tasty but again prepared poorly. The drinks however were phenomenal!! the price and the quality food wise was not there. We got the chocolate cake dessert and it was the worst cake I’ve ever. We were so excited about this place and terribly disappointed. We are leery of returning for a second chance due to the price of this restaurant.

Went here for brunch and the food looked and tasted absolutely delicious. I had the Coffee Rubbed Pork Belly and every bite was mouth watering. The restaurant itself just has a few tables so if it gets busy you may want to make reservations. This place would make a great place for a date.

What an amazing dining experience. Our meal started with the Korean chili braised octopus and roasted Virginia oysters. The octopus was very tender and the oysters were full with flavor. I highly suggest all the drinks on the menu but you have to try out the "bartender's experience". This is a personalized cocktail just for you that is based on your name, an adjective and a place (real or imaginative). I think we ordered about 5 different drinks with the "bartender's experience". I had the shrimp and grits that very rich and buttery. The way shrimp and grits should be made and a plus was that the shrimp were huge! They practically took over the whole bowl of grits! For dessert, I had the sticky date cake which is phenomenal. All through our meal the various servers and owners really great as a team. It was a great dining experience and we can't wait to go back.
