Great atmosphere and service! Debbie, our server, was fantastic, really knows her stuff. This place has a lot of history as was told to us. The Rat Pack and Elvis used to frequent it when there was a secret underground bar here. Happy hour is highly recommended!

Great food, great cocktails, great pool, great hot tub, and the employees and bartender....Topnotch...

Always the highlight of Palm Springs it's like having lunch in a Polynesian restaurant it reminds me of Margaritaville

A very schlocky bar in all the best possible of ways. Sea Hunt (starring Lloyd Bridges) continually playing on TV near the bar. How cool is that???!!!

Great cocktails, delicious kalua pork, great service! Wish they didn't use canned pineapple, but otherwise would recommend.

An absolutely perfect tiki bar. Generously poured STRONG mai tais, only $7 during their 2-6 pm happy hour. Richie the bartender was super nice. Located in the historic Caliente Tropics hotel on Palm Canyon Drive, but at the far end, away from the commotion of the main nightlife area. The bar is beautifully decorated in tiki kitsch art, and overlooks the hotel pool, also decked out in tiki decor. Reasonably priced rooms during the off season, around $120/ night. Great place to come spend a little time and relax. It was pretty empty and peaceful in early January.

We come here for the food, not the drinks. The burgers are amazing and despite the seemingly high prices it's a pretty decent value. We've tried a variety of dishes and each one has it's own unique, delicious flavor. The setting is unique and comfortable and it's great eating out by the pool.

Service was absolutely terrible on a Saturday 12:30 pm. Place was empty and our waitress wasn't very attentive. Waiting 20 mins for a drink and an hour for a salad. Won't be going back there anytime soon. Also wanted an arnold palmer but they had no tea?????

Cameron is amazing , after leaving Tonga Hut, The Reef has restored my faith in Tiki bars in Palm Springs.

Still the best.... If you're in town and need to feel special. The Reef will always make you feel like you're special. Like a local ready for that something familiar that makes you feel at home.

My wife and I love this place so much. Great drinks, great atmosphere and good food. The bartenders are awesome, take the time to make good drinks, they are always consistent and well done. We love the atmosphere wait staff is friendly and overall very attentive. The bar sits in an area attached to a hotel with a pool behind the bar. It's fun to go early afternoon Sat/Sun have a drink and watch the pool antics. I've had the majority of the drinks on the menu and have never been disappointed. Also, if you're a Star Wars fan, they have you covered. Check it out and see for yourself. See you there!!
