This is one of those places I didn’t realize I needed in my life until I found it. It has the vibe of a college bar, but with cleaner bathrooms and more attentive waitstaff. The place itself is what you’d expect: divey with a diverse crowd and a bit rowdy if a sports game is on.The location is great! They’re right in the financial district by City Hall and Fanueil, so if you’re trying to get away from tourist-central and overpriced drinks, head this way. You’ll find $19 pitchers of Blue Moon, $7.50 oak and cokes, and a menu with the pub food you’re craving.Tip: there’s an upstairs and downstairs, but the upstairs tends to be quieter!

I had the shrimp scampi and my boyfriend had the shrimp stir fry which which both came with generous portions of 5 huge jumbo shrimp and a lot of pasta and shrimp respectively. They were both DELICIOUS! *Especially* for the bargain price!! Don't judge this book by its cover - it may look like just another hole-in-the-wall bar, but this is a hidden gem. Kim was our waitress/bartender and she was super attentive and accommodating without crowding us, she was so great! We will definitely come back the next time we visit!

Love this place, really great bar for watching a game and enjoying some cheap wings and beer. Spots can be hard to find when busy, but overall a great bar atmosphere.

NIGHT OUT REVIEWWhat a great Boston dive bar! Came here around 10:30 PM with some friends and was pleasantly surprised by the low-ceilings, wood everywhere, and cheap drinks. Pitchers are $15 and the amazing waffle fries are only $4. Will definitely make this part of my regular rotation.I hear they also have 10 cent wings on certain days so check that out!

Calm, classic, personable and comfortable. A barfly destination without the drama. Down-to-earth place for friends, family and tourists. Unique and uncategorized. Friendly barkeepers and old school beer selection.

Loved this place. Stayed in Boston for like 5 days, ended up easing here twice. Huge portions, cheap, cool atmosphere. Will come back next time we're in Boston. Loved it.

Great food near the center of Boston. Short walk from Bowdoin and Government Center stations. The beer is cheap and cold and the food is fantastic. Wish they had someone at the door to show where to sit. Also it smells some times but you get used to it. I highly recommend.

Great find in Boston. There are 2 levels here—-I visited the top level and had a blast. Beers on tap are about $5 or so and you can get a filling sandwich with waffle fries for about $9. It’s not gourmet but it’s damn good for a “dive” bar. Friendly, no attitude staff to boot. Check it out if you just want to drink and chill.

Really great food. Convenient and not a tourist trap. Kids loved we took them to a real bar. The were crazy about the Mac n Cheese and the Pull Pork. Fought over the fries. Only downer is 1 star for cleanliness...but it's a bar

Went there for 10 cent wing Tuesdays. Food and service was great.

Great pub food and the bartenders Christine and Nicole are the best in Boston. If you want a casual place to have a good drink and great burger, this is the place.
