The Red Eyed Mule

Tried to visit on Saturday during lunch and the line was extremely long. We decided to try again on Sunday. The line was not as long and they took our order within 15 minutes. This is a counter service restaurant (order your food and then find your seat). I totally understand why the line is long, the food is spectacular. I ordered the corn beef hash. It was amazing. They give tons of fresh corn beef. The biscuit, omg, so soft and buttery. The grits were great. I have to come back to try more.

Been here twice and both times I planned on getting a hamburger but the cashier has convinced me to get the daily special. Today's was what they called a Reuben but i would just call it a brisket sandwich. Lots o meat and it was very tender and flavorful. So succulent. The fries are yummy too.

Really good breakfast food. I recommend the fried chicken biscuit and add a side of of gravy, which I used as a dipping sauce. Can't wait to come back and try the lunch menu!The line may look intimidating, but it moves quickly. I suggest ordering a cup of self service coffee to sip on while you wait for a booth to open up.

Been here for breakfast twice with no disappointments. The food is great! Service is easy with self serve drinks and staff bringing out the food to your table. We did not have to wait too long even on a crowded weekend day. Can't really go wrong here!

Food was excellent!! Not too expensive. I Can't believe I waited so long to try it. They opened less than a block from my house and are always super busy. That is always a sign of good food, when a lot of people want to eat there.

Deliciousness for breakfast. Good gravy, biscuits, sausage, And eggs. The mule chips are very good. And the house hot sauce? Is very tasty.

Delicious food, good service. Heard that this is Alton Browns favorite burger, so had to come here. It was a good burger! But imo the smoked meatloaf blew it out of the water! The fries were great too

Went for breakfast. Unlike others, I loved the ordering process. It was fast and super efficient. The food came very quickly. Very cute ambience. Love the community table. I have no problems getting coffee and drinks myself - not sure why other reviewers would comment negatively on that aspect. We were in and out quickly even though it was Sunday morning. The only thing I'd prefer is to have real butter to spread on my biscuits.
