From our locally sourced burgers and sandwiches to our all-Ohio craft beer taps to our old-school, hand-dipped milkshakes, we locally source as many ingredients as we can. Established in 2011, The Rail is the vision of award-winning chef and restaurateur Mike Mariola. Opening and running two of Wooster, Ohio's most successful restaurants, South Market Bistro and The City Square Steakhouse, Mariola noticed the locally sourced burgers were quite popular and decided to pursue a burger bar concept for his next venture... which brought us to The Rail. Mariola opened the first location at Akron's Summit Mall. We have since opened locations in North Olmsted, Canton, Strongsville and Dublin. Combining his lifelong passion for great, fresh food and a dedication to sustainability, Mariola is able to redefine the typical burger joint with a menu you have to taste for yourself.

I haven't been to a mall in a while, and anyone who says they are dying out should visit Great Northern. It was busy, with people all over the place. I had to pick up something at Forever 21, which was busy, big, glittery, shiny, well-stocked. I didn't have time to spend there because I was on my way to work but I like the store and would go back, and the mall seems to be doing just fine.
