The Pot Smoker BBQ

I'm from Southeast Texas and visited here late last year for a work conference and I gotta say -- y'alls pork ribs were EXCELLENT!! Beans and Mac n Cheese were killer too. If I know anyone passing through or visiting Columbia, I am sending them your way.

Great BBQ spot. Pulled pork was nice and juicy with a great smokey flavor. Great sides with generous portions. Friendly staff and great service. Food was served promptly. Multiple BBQ sauce flavors to choose from with spicy options. Cozy dine in area. Highly recommend.

First BBQ place we tried since moving to Columbia and we were not disappointed. Homemade sauces are great and I loved my Pulled Pork Plate!

Pulled pork was to die for and wings were no slouch either. Great selection of sauces at table. Great vibe and smoke feel.

Some of the best barbeque in Columbia, SC.It's an order at the counter place. Very laid back atmosphere. We had the brisket plate with loaded baked potato salad and green beans. Even the green beans were good! The meat was the star and the portions of that were huge. Try the Kickin' Butt Sauce.

Very nice atmosphere, smell, great signage. Great staff too. The meat we ordered (Brisket) had good flavor although it was a little dry. I would definitely give it a try again.

Was pretty good but I think the pulled pork was a little mooshy, but good flavor in the beans, the place is clean and the environment was nice.

This was a comfy little restaurant in downtown Cola. The pulled pork was very good. The sauces weren't quite what I'm used to, but still pretty tasty. The baked beans and potato salad were very good. I want a huge fan of the hash, but I'm pretty picky about that so.... Overall it was a good experience. 😊

Love the Big Pork Sandwich, it's a must when your craving a BBQ sandwich. I honestly love there entire menu the hash and rice is fantastic, the Mac n cheese is phenomenal, even the ribs. Most of all I love there sauces truly unique and a staple.

Priced reasonably for the college students, but with the flavors of a real pitmaster. We ordered the brisket, pork rib, and shredded pork plates and not one of those was at all a disappointment! The meats are certainly the focus, but all the sides were pretty great also. The most interesting side was the hash, but the favorite was the Mac. Also, if you still have room for dessert and are in for something sinfully rich, grab a slice of buttermilk pie! The brownie was the only disappointment as it was exceedingly dry.

Friendly staff with quick service. Clean, comfortable atmosphere. The brisket was lacklustre and the sauces were not that great, but mixing two of the sauces together gave me a sandwich I could actually enjoy. The pricing is right & the portions are large. If I were to return, I would order something other than brisket.

Bit into the Brisket sandwich and yelled "Shut your face!" The sandwich was amazing. You should eat one! Great prices and really good food. Thanks for a memorable meal.

Customer services was great and quick. The sauces and Mac and cheese are pretty good too. The pork fell right off the bone, which I love but it was a bit off and lacked taste. I felt like I had to lather the sauce on.

I admire this spot! They give high quality dishes, their menu is decent, The chef in that restaurant is a real pro, I love very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh, the service towards the customers is agreeable. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I highly recommend it.
