Something's are good, but not All. Cornbread, no flavor at all. Great selections of beer and great drinks. But the food could be better.

Solid place for a bite, a drink, and a show. Their lineup features some of the best bands in the Boston area. Love that this is in my backyard!

My first time here @ the Porch and this was a special occasion, my granddaughter ‘s christening party. I must say the room we had was perfect & the food was very good. This was my first time really eating Southern Fare. The style of the restaurant was unique which I loved. I will definitely go back, it was a great day. Good Job

Great outdoor and indoor eating options. The outdoor patio is spacious and the indoor scene is full of interesting paraphernalia and entertainment. In addition to the great physical space, The Porch had tasty barbecue options that did not disappoint. The pulled pork and ribs were lean, so there was no hassle removing unwanted fat and the spectrum of different sauces was impressive. The only somewhat disappointing thing was the amount of food you get for what you paid. In comparison to other southern bbq places, I expected more food than was given but the food itself was delicious.

First time at the porch since their switch to the Medford location. The food was amazing! Portions are great, the sides were super flavorful, and the drinks were unique and had a southern flare to them. We were lucky to have Tim as our server, he was so awesome! It’s obvious he loves what he does! Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes and drinks.

I was amazed at how big this place was. I went New Years Day with 10 other people. They were under staffed but the bartender ( we all sat at the bar) held it together. He got our orders in and out at a timely manner. He was calm, cool, collected and funny the whole time, people were pouring in and he still served all 11 of us. The food was delicious. I will go back

A well air conditioned sit down barbeque restaurant. The oyster stew is good. I really liked the sour beer. There are lots of local IPA and lager beers to try. The dessert is delicious.

Great BBQ and sides! Have been craving some BBQ from being stuck at home during the pandemic and was thrilled with what The Porch made!

Ordered the 2 piece with cheese grits and Mac and cheese! So flavorful and delicious. Can't wait to visit the restaurant once this is over!

I had the Hangover egg sando - eggs over easy. The sandwich wasn’t particularly special - no real complexity in flavour - but was cooked well and the breakfast sausage really stood out. The potato hash was tasty. I came with a couple and their baby during brunch on a Saturday which included live music. Strange for the stage to face away from the tables but toward the kitchen. Our server was attentive and helpful. Overall a good experience.

FoodOverall the food was okay. Even though the place is known for ribs, but I was not that impressed. The ribs were very tender, but it could be more flavourful. I ordered a bandit burger. Again, it was done well, but it is not the kind of burger which you would remember the flavour and crave for it later on. I did not like their fries, but my husband loved it and he ordered one more. Everything elseThe place is very nice and gigantic. They even have a stage for performance and two pool tables.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the restaurant. It is large and has a nice bar. The restaurant was mostly full but there we enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The staff was attentive but my order was not done correctly. It was quickly fixed. The only downside is the price to portion size for the meat combos.

The place has a great vibe and environment, wooded everywhere and very spacious. Service was really good an responsive to our needs. Food was really good, had a fried Chicken sandwich that was amazing and as appetizers had devilled eggs and hush puppies. Cornbread as a side dish was awesome, recommended.

3 stars is pushing it. 2 1/2 at most. I had Hot hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville two weeks ago. It was fabulous and worth the more than 30 minute wait to get in. The chicken was cooked to perfection and you could select the degree of hotness. The sides were prepared to perfection. I was hoping that the Porch would provide such an experience. Only one spice level on the chicken, extremely hot. The sides were terrible - collard greens were too salty, the beans were flavorless. And they add an additional 3 percent admin fee (think gratuity) for the kitchen staff. Surprise, surprise they prepare food marginally, charge a lot, and don't pay their staff sufficiently.

Amazing chicken and waffles!! Wish I knew about this place sooner, we saw you on Phantom Gourmet and realized we live 1 mile away and drive by all the time. I realized I have seen your (very small) signs from the street before but had no clue you were a public restaurant.
