I make it a point to come here everytime I visit Virginia. I love the tea and the atmosphere. The staff has always been welcoming. I love the expansion. The tea is brewed well and they have a nice selection. It is also very welcoming to kids.

I loved every single thing about my experience here. It feels very intimate like many of the tea rooms I've visited in England. Free tea this month, and it was only $12 for my delicious chicken & mushroom pie with a side salad. It was the perfect serving size for me.

As always, I had a great visit with such wonderful ambiance and delicious food! I decided to try the Isle of Wight Fisherman's Pie. What a treat! I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have tried and with the service I have received. I recommend the Ploughcroft to anyone who loves good food in a beautiful, relaxing environment. 😊

Always a wonderful time for a relaxing lunch date! I've had the curry, chicken salad, potato soup.... Everything is delicious. The gingerbread dessert is to die for!

Such a lovely place! The owner is British and the place seems very authentic! I took my mother and grandmother for afternoon tea and they both enjoyed it very much. The little pastries and sandwiches are flavorful and filling, and the tea is wonderful! It's a delightful place

Such a sweet place...my girl's loved it. I wish they let you order the full menu all day instead of only later in the day for the tea time menu. It's a tease to be able to see it but not order it. Other that that, we loved it.
