The Pickle Guys

An incredible store that has been serving the local community for ages. We went here on our recommendation from our tour guide. I did not regret my decision to go here for a second. Bought two different types of pickles. One salty and one spicy. Both were incredible. Plus I also purchased some pickled mushrooms which were delicious. To make my purchase truly complete I bought an action figure of Pickle Rick from Rick and Morty. The fact that they had those was so cool I was blown away. The owner was super nice and friendly. Please come here and support a local business rather than buying your pickles from a supermarket chain

Amazing selection of pickles, pickled tomatoes, fruits and olives. The prices are great considering the area (up and coming lower east side) and the service is great. Highly recommend the jalepeno stuffed olives and the hot sour pickles.

Best pickles. Loved the pickled mango also. This place is a staple of the neighborhood. Classic New York at it's best

LOVE It! My daughter and I just visited last week from Florida. We were on a walk and came upon this place. I had to take a container of the pickled green beans home. I was worried the airport security would tell me ixnay on the food. But they didn't even ask me to take it out of my bag with the liquid in it. I have them in the fridge now and they are still crunchy. So tangy. I have to savor them. Only a few allowed each day. Glad I looked them up and saw that they ship to you. I love that I choke on the tangyness each time 😂 that's just how good they are. Thanks Pickle Guys. If we move to New York, it will definitely be because of all the unique foods one can explore. My daughter tried one when we got home. Now she wants more too.

One of the last remaining stores in Manhattan selling fresh pickles. Small narrow store is a treasure trove of pickled products. From the basic new pickle to pickled grape tomatoes and mangoes. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I even got a free pickle for the road. They encourage you to try and will let you sample! If you love pickles and friends of pickles, you must visit the Pickle Guys.

Half sours, full sours, non sours, pickled turnips, bread and butter, pepperoncini, giardenera, The Pickle Guys have it all. They even have pickled fruit...we tried the pickled pineapple (mainly because we've never seen it before) and it was interesting...sweet, sour, and spicy all at the same time. The guys working in the shop were super helpful and friendly and they answered all of our silly pickle questions. They even offered samples of everything. The half sour garlic pickles are amazing, but bring an Altoid with you, you'll need it.

Great little storefront slice of NYC. The staff is friendly, funny, engaging and accommodating. They have everything from traditional pickles, sour pickles, and spicy pickles, to pickled pineapple, mango, garlic, and brussel sprouts. You can buy a single pickle or a big ol' jar of pickles. If you're in the area it's worth the trip even if it means a little detour.

Cool spot for all kinds of pickles. I don't normally like pickles, but the least sour cucumber pickle was delicious!
