The Palace Diner

I would normally give this place 5 stars since I always have excellent service. Tonight and one other time though I got a server that doesn't even wait for you to finish ordering before walking away. I got the baked stuff clams and fried calamari, which I've had many times, and the clams were burnt on the top and calamari was under cooked. The salad I had was ok, but the server forgot the extra dressing, and the soup my boyfriend had seemed to be fine. Overall it was a good but the service. I have never had good experiences with her due to the fact that she doesn't seem to care. She takes your order and barely comes back unless you call for her or wave her over then she still takes a while to get back to you. She seems to just want you to leave and that's unacceptable. I'm sorry if she has to share tips with others cause she deserved two dollars although I was nice and gave her three. For the three minutes of service.

I ordered a bacon, swiss burger cooked medium with onion rings. It came out hot and good. Pickle was good. Cole slaw left me a little disappointed. It tasted like it was missing something I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Wrong order again. So many restaurants around, better choices

Palace is absolutely one of my favorite diners! Their service is always quick and staff is very friendly. The food is great and there are so many options. Plus, their dessert sizes are huge, and quite honestly I love their cheesecakes. I will definitely be coming back!

Food was good, prices were great. My wife ordered chicken salad sandwich and received egg salad sandwich. Tried to find our waitress to correct the order but she was suddenly MIA and we were hungry so she ate the egg sandwich.... Which she said was so so.My quesadilla was really good. Bill comes and on it clearly stated was chicken salad so no clue who made the error in the kitchen

So we came into the diner Monday night and our waitress was Isabelle.. let me just say she was horrible.. because the girl forgot everything. She must have never been a server before. They need to hire better because that girl is an airhead. We will be contacting management.

Love Love Love this place!!! Let me first say my husband and I come in every weekend usually late night and everything and everyone is wonderful!! Bianca is my girl, She’s one of a kind and an absolute sweetheart not to mention a great server. Karen also what a wonderful server, love her sense of humor. They always make my visit pleasant. From the food to the waitstaff it’s always a good time. This is definitely the place to go.

We loved this place! The owner is super friendly and will stop by to chat. The food selection is awesome, including cakes and baked good. Very recommended.

The food is enjoyable, a lot of us have our favorite dishes and drinks, the staff are always very nice an there when you need them without hovering, which we know can be worse then be ignored. Have been going there somewhat regularly when I am in the area. Always a recommendation, especially for those who work odd hours.

Just stopped in for dessert this time and it was very good as usual. The chocolate mousse cheesecake is really good and the seven layer chocolate cake is delicious. The slices are impressively large. Service is fast and friendly. I'll be back.

Our waitress Karen is who made our evening so good here! The food was delicious and OMG, the Chocolate Mousse Cake is to die for!!! You gotta try it yourself!!

Always an enjoyable meal. The Rueben was delicious. The waitress was horrible. Worst waitress I've ever had. She forgot to bring accompanying food like the coleslaw. Never refilled my water. Checked on us once. She seemed so disinterested. Forgot her name. Blond with tattoos. ? Christine
