The Oceanaire Seafood Room

My wife wanted to grab dinner & I realized that I hadn't been in a few years. I usually went for lun h, but this was my first dinner in years & her first time ever. The meal was as great as I remembered and the staff was outstanding. She simply loved it. We will definitely be back soon.

Amazing food and atmosphere. My steak was awesome. My date's scallops and risotto were also scrumptious. Our waiter could be better though. He wasn't really able to explain the menu or suggest options.

The service and food were excellent! I went for restaurant week for the experience but can't wait to return.

Great great service. Fine dining. Interesting menu fresh every day. The food is delicious. Great drinks. A very nice place to break bread with good friends... and the bread is great too...

Excellent place to dine. Went there after the Nutcracker ballet at the Warner. Very easy to set a reservation online. Staff so very warm and professional. The waiter kept his cool after I changed my main entree order. The PEI mussels did not disappoint nor did the simple Chilean Sea Bass. Wife got the Lobster Bisque & roasted Ecuadorian swordfish (prepared Tuscan style with Swiss Chard & Cannellini beans). Keep in mind: the sides are big enough to share for 2-3 people. Lobster Mac & cheese is where it's at. Overall, a very solid dining experience.

Such an amazing place! Food is delicious, great server. The Alaska desert is norhing special - just ice cream with cream , but loved watching it burn

This was my second visit here and it didn't live up to my expectations. Ordered the lobster bisque and it was served luke warm and sent it back to be warmed up. Then the crab cakes and roasted brussel sprouts were served luke warm. Sent the crab cakes back to be warmed up. This is unsat for this type of restaurant. I am in no hurry to return.

The restaurant with valet parking was a definite plus on a rainy Saturday night outing. Inside was spacious and comfortable and brightly lit. The staff was friendly, courteous and prompt. We ordered a salad, Char Octopus, Grilled Oyster Rock, and Escargots as appetizers. The Oysters Rock was delicious and wonderfully done, but the Escargots were forgettable, and the Octopus was tough and chewy. Our entrees turned out to be the same, with more missed than hit. The Greek Branzino was fresh and tasty, but the two Fruit of the Sea entrees were over cooked, with the African Prawns dry instead of tender and sweet.

Everything was outstanding! The hostess, service, waiter was very knowledgeable, the mood of the establishment, and our meal was delicious. I don't have 1 complaint about our experience.

If you want to go somewhere that takes service seriously and will provide an experience this is that place. We were celebrating my mom's birthday but couldn't stay for the dessert they wanted to give her because we were going to ac show. They told us to come back another time for the dessert. After the show we went back and they were happy to see us and got us a table for dessert and coffee and honored the free dessert they wanted to give her. The service was wonderful both times we were there and the food is excellent. A very nice place to go for a special occasion or a nice evening out.

The food and service was absolutely wonderful! Shout out to Carlos our server who is very attentive and welcoming. L my boyfriend and I went here for a dinner date and it was a perfect location to go to the movies afterwards. The complimentary bread was fresh and warm! Not a big fan of the table veggies that they give complimentary, but our meals were delicious! Our favorite is the shrimp and Scampi with the mouth-watering butter garlic! I also thoroughly enjoyed the oyster Trio Chef's Choice! We took advantage of the winter wine sweet special as well!

A wonderful experience at a fair price. My girlfriend took me here for my birthday celebration and I could not be happier. The crab cakes were better than any I’ve had to date, the salmon was cooked perfectly with great taste and oysters were phenomenal! If you are a seafood fanatic, I’d highly recommend dining here.

Visiting from Chicago had a great time. Loved the decor and vibe of the restaurant & bar. Wayne our bartender was excellent. He was very accommodating and provided superlative customer service. We will return whenever we visit DC loved my experience at Oceanaire.
