This place was not bad, but it wasn't great either. Individually, the food was good. Pulled pork was good (but a bit greasy), the sauce was good, the mac n' cheese was good, the cornbread was good. However, the cornbread came with maple butter. Though good, the maple butter was potent and clashed a bit with the BBQ sauce. On the plus side, the service was very good.

Two friends and I were in the area looking for a place to eat. North End Barbecue was close so we stopped in. Wow. The place is definitely a cut above. We each had a different dish. All were excellent. The ambience is quite appropriate. The service excellent. All menu items were well explained as were the sauces. The pricing was quite reasonable. BTW they have an extensive bourbon menu. What more could you want?

Best whisk(e)y bar in town! I think the BBQ is top notch as well. Don’t know what you’re in the mood for? Staff suggestions are always spot on for cocktails, apps or meals. Best bartenders in my humble opinion - creativity counts.
