Great place for meetings, small & large. Great views of the city.

Tonight wasn't the clubs fault. The female in the lobby was absolutley the worst person I have ever encountered. If you have seen the Shanique b"king video "you laugh fort the fumor. This person made that humor a reality. Never knew people so sad in thier life that work security /rescepetion that still have so much hatred and anger. Definetly will not return!

Excellent staff and views of downtown Chicago. Catalina the lead Membership director has always been extremely helpful with any of my needs and questions. The best part of the Metropolitan Club is the monthly "Beer Club" events. The place epitomizes fine dining and will appease any diner who is looking for food that matches the views. The 5pm free appetizers is the icing on the cake and it's always great to see what Chef will create.

We went on Valentine’s Day their 5 course meal. The food was good, but the service was terrible. We were also charged a “service charge” that was half the cost of our meal!

Buyer beware this restaurant charges a 20% service charge for absolutely nothing. They say it is because it is a private club but you have no way of knowing that until you are in the restaurant reading their menu. So between the service charge and the tip you are paying 40% of your total bill. The food is average at best in my opinion and the craftsman dining room has an old vibe playing elevator music. I would not recommend it. There are so many better restaurants in Chicago I am extremely disappointed in the amount we paid for the food. The value is not there.I called the restaurant after we left because it really bothered me that we didn’t know about the 20% service charge until we saw the menu. The manager called me and was extremely rude. I rarely write reviews but I didn’t want other people to be taken advantage of as we were.

Had such a great time with a great friend. We've been there twice and plan to go back plenty more times. I hate the fireworks won't be back til next year😥. That Pink Line drink👏👏. The food amazing! The wait staff was the best part. The view wasn't shabby either 😍

View is beautiful but getting in is a bit of a pain & the room was very hot!! Too hot for a small room with that many people in winter clothes.

Newly remodeled and always a fun time!

We visited the restaurant as part of a travelzoo deal. We arrived as first guests for the night and we were seated facing Michigan Lake. Most of the view was blocked by the tower roof and we asked for a different table. The restaurant was completely empty and even after two requests, we were not given permission from the manager to move to a different table. I believe that they keep those tables for travelzoo customers only. The food was good, the waiter courteous and polite but for the price we payed and how the management treated us it was definitely not worth it.
