The Melon Seed Deli & Frozen Yogurt

Slider style sandwiches, but they are stacked and fill you up like any regular deli sandwich. I had the Cubano, which was melt in your mouth delicious. Wife had the melon seed, which she said is refreshing, crisp and delicious. Awesome frozen yogurt and kids meals also.

Amazing! I have mixed feelings about giving a review because the food and fro-yo are divine and I wanna keep it all to myself! Lovely staff and colorful cheery vibe in the shop. Definitely a new favorite for me!

This place is must no matter what you’re in the mood for. The Cubano is easily one of the best sandwiches in town. We also had the Stuffed Strawberries. Highly recommend this deli. The man who I assume is the owner, was very friendly as was the staff. Go there.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! Melon Seed is my go-to spot for delicious salads, sandwiches and cool treats. Give the Northwestern salad with salmon and balsamic dressing or the BBQ salmon slider a try, you'll be glad you did. Not only is the food super tasty, the vibe in the cafe is chill and welcoming with outstanding customer service and mellow reggae music in the background.

Somehow orders were mixed up and the wait was quite long but we were served wonderfully fresh salads with a free dessert each for the delay. If you have time and patience, this place is WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!

The Melon Seed Deli is one of the best places in Tacoma to eat! The combination of flavors and textures in each slider is more than just food it is an art. My new favorite is the Spiked Tuna Melt slider.I am always nervous when trying something new and each time here I have been beyond impressed. The owners are passionate about the food they make and it shows in every detail. I can’t recommend this place enough. The owners and employees are awesome and deliver service with a smile no matter how busy they are.

this is my first time visiting the melon seed and I have to say their sandwiches look awesome but that day I just tried a froyo (frozen yogurt) and their flavors are great I had the vanilla raspberry but the watermelon apple is awesome as well I can't wait to go back and try their sandwiches it's a little kind of hole-in-the-wall place but let me tell you their food looks delish can't wait to try some of their sliders I would definitely recommend it some of their prices seem a little high but like I said the food looked awesome

Such a friendly and caring team! They really want their customers to have a great experience when they come in and they make great food! Plenty of options for everyone. Everything is super fresh! Absolutely reccomend.

I have never had anything here that was not awesome, but I always wish I had ordered what my friends got. Friendly, prompt service; kind of a hole in the wall place but spotlessly clean, including the restroom. I'm so glad a friend introduced me, and my goal is to get back everytime the frozen yogurt flavors change. So good.

Love the cheesecake stuffed strawberries. More than enough for 2 people. The sandwiches are also amazing, the crusty bread is my favorite! Friendly staff too.

Tried this spot for the first time a little over a year ago, and I absolutely LOVE it. The "sliders" are an absolute favorite, my husband and I love getting two separate orders and having one of each. So good!

A little nervous at first. Saw reviews and wanted to try very glad I did. First the atmosphere is fantastic bright and welcoming. They welcomed us in gave us a great breakdown of the menu including showing the bread they use. Fun with great food. Stop by you will not regret it!

The turkey, bacon, and chutney slider was excellent. My order came with two sliders and tortilla chips. The sandwich presentation was artistic (making the red plastic basket and chips look out of place LOL). I was not expecting that from a sandwich lunch spot. It takes a bit of time to get your order but I think it is because of the perfection with which the sandwiches are assembled. My lunch mates were quite complementary of their orders as well. It wasn't a fast in-and-out experience but sandwich ordered was excellent and worth the wait.
