The Meatball Shop

It was a good lunch and service was ok. No real complaints but nothing that jumped out either. Solid 4 stars over all. Only problem we had was the specialty lemonade was pretty terrible. They made it right by taking it off the bill and replacing them.

A nicely decorated restaurant that creates a very comfortable environment to sit and have food. A friendly place for coming with friends. Fresh and healthy foods are provided. I loved the beef meatball and chicken meatball fro the delicious dishes.

Went for a 6yo birthday, 3 of us. Server was absolutely amazing! Food was great. Absolutely no cons for this place.

Good, filling food with incredibly quick service.Wine is good value for a carafe but I wanted to have some before I ate. Food was out so quick that I had barely poured the first glass by the time it arrived.

I truly love the Meatball Shop for the meatballs and sauce combos. The meat is always moist and never overcooked, which makes for a terrific dish. I always get a hero.

One of the more modern and nicer locations they have in the city. Quality of the food and service are just as good as the other locations I’ve frequented in the past...kitchen sink today with lamb meatballs and a dill sauce served with quinoa, broccoli, beans, and greens was fantastic!

I expected much more given the pictures of food looked so delicious. To my taste palate however the meatballs in particular were bland. In my party of six, four others agreed. And my drink, an Apple Cinnamon Margarita while different in taste had barely a splash of tequila. There are some places you go to and leave feeling happier and others you wish you'd saved your money and went else where and my entire party agreed with the later.

Interesting concept. Decent food. Great banana split dessert. Wasn't impressed with getting charged $3 for each lemonade that tasted like (and I'm fairly certain) it was made with reconstituted lemon juice.

The food here was delicious and I loved every part of it. The idea is brilliant and is definitely worth going. It is a little overpriced for what it is, it’s pretty expensive pasta, but it is pretty good and worth paying for. Plus it’s in the heart of New York City so what do you expect? Overall it’s a great joint with a fun atmosphere and delicious food. 8/10

Had a whirlwind of a destination wedding and Nicolette & all the staff were so lovely and accommodating for our lunch reception - Sidepiece is the perfect size for an intimate occasion. We did the family style meal and had plenty of leftovers. Will definitely re-visit!

Second visit to the Meatball shop. First was to the location on the Lower East Side. Thoughtfully crafted menu with mix and match options. The parmesan cream sauce is my favorite! You must absolutely save room for the icecream cookie dessert! Soft and chewy cookies and super creamy, flavorful icecream. So good! Can't wait to return to the meatball shop!!

The meatballs are delicious! The service is so-so... it was fast, but there was some confusion when one of the staff gave us someone else's food and then took the correct order right from under the other customer's nose (what if she'd already tasted some of the sauce or put her fork in it?). I'd still recommend giving this place a try, but for the price, I was hoping to not receive food someone else had already started eating...

One of my favorite places to eat in NYC. I usually stick to the tried and true spicy pork meatballs, but they have more creative options if you're the adventurous type.

Delicious food and amazing staff. The wait is very short, we got our food almost instantly.
