Meh, so so soft serve ice cream. Not really creamy. Tons of other fast food. A local take out joint with some outdoor seating.

Best Haupia shake, really great prices, great food, awesome friendly staff.

We had a great experience tonight! As always the food was ono. There were 7 of us. We had french fries, saimin, dry mein, fried shrimp plate, teri burger and kalbi plate. To end our meals, we tried the ube slushie float, blue vanilla slushie float and fruity pebbles shake. My two boys also had vanilla ice cream cones. What made this experience most memorable was, Emma (not sure if one of the owners) came over to our table to talk story with us. She asked for feedback about our meals and if we had any suggestions on how they could do better. The epitome of a wonderful business owner. She asked us about our lives and showed that she sincerely cared about our background and took special interest in my children. I love being able to converse with business owners that accept constructive criticism (although we had none) and so humble in her ways. Mahalo Emma for the ono food and your truly genuine hospitality. We will be back again!

There shakes are legendary, get the banana shake

Copies remind me of Zesto's drive-in in Bogalusa Louisiana. Menu tidbit different, food was really good and so was the service I will give it a 5 star for drive-in.

Recently changed ownership and has changed from lunch buffet to a plate lunch and burger place with a changed menu. Sadly, I preferred the previous menu better.

Prices are pretty reasonable. And they have all the local favorites.breaded teriyaki is the bomb. Only downfall was the special of the night. I ordered the rib steak and the girl asked me how I wanted it cooked. I told her medium. I like my steak medium, medium rare but when I got it it was fully cooked or well done. Saw that special and I was really looking forward to a good steak dinner at $16.95. Did even eat half of it... lucky I ordered the breaded teriyaki it saved the day....

I fly there from Hilo once a month just for cuppies ... my fav is ube with pop rocks

Great old fashioned burger place. The food was great and the service was wonderful.

Local Kine grinds awesome place for the ohana.

I really enjoyed the orange creamsicle shake I got. The food was good too, and very reasonably priced. Everything comes in takeout packages but they do provide a covered and shady area with picnic benches in addition to misters while you're waiting in line. The meal came quick even though it was lunch time and they seemed quite busy. I would certainly visit again.

Great American style drive in diner, some great American classics with local flare, try the Breaded Teriyaki, their fries with dipping sauce (mustard/mayo). their shakes are amazing
