The Matador

Busy, fun, nicely lit bar and restaurant with a small parking lot. Street parking is workable. The service is exceptional, the drinks are creative, (try the Bartender's Margarita) and the wine/beer selections are very good. My friend and I each had a glass of Josh Chardonnay, which was crisp and enjoyable. I suggest vegans order the guacamole. Don't roll your eyes. It's much better than average and comes with 2 additional dipping sauces as well as some chopped tomatoes with herbs. I found it filling and will happily order it again. My non-vegan friend found many enticing menu selections and neither of us went home hungry. Check it out. It's not quiet and romantic, but bustling and energizing. Perfect for an after work gathering.
