Damn good jalapeno bacon burger. Bun toasted to perfection. Great atmosphere and service

I ordered a mushroom swiss cheese burger. When it came, it was very large. It tasted great. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly. Several patrons were very happy with their orders.

Doesn't offer breakfast for very long, doesn't accept cards, I ordered coffee (not knowing about the no cards) was told "well I guess coffee is on us today" in a very rude tone from the bitter waitress. I am a restaurant GM, and this establishment is poorly run and the staff is exceptionally rude.

This place is a real dive, in the best way possible. Waitress was very welcoming and real feel good food. P.S. and she didnt judge me for getting a Budweiser at 10:30am with my breakfast 😎😎😎

They don’t sell hotdogs on Fridays, and don’t have all the drinks on their menu. I had fish tacos and they taste good and the burgers was big and good also

This used to be a great little local hot dog/burger stand but services has deteriorated terribly in the past two years. Don't know what's going on with mgmt but quality and service, esp attitude toward customers is like they are doing you a service to serve you. I have been here once this season and I won't be going back. You have way too many good places to grab a bite to eat in Venice to put up with their lack of appreciation for your business.

A cute little place... you can eat inside or outside. Reasonable prices and home style food.

The Owner and waitress were horrible. Had zero manners, They had no cheese, no pickles, no regular sized hot dogs(this is supposed to be a hot dog joint) . If we were going to order any hot dog it had to be a 1/4 pound sized hot dog. Which was more money...They would not compromise any pricing whatsoever when it was the restaurants own fault for being out of what is actually on the menu. Everything we asked for they did not have. We ordered sweet potato fries, they said they had them. Then came out side and told us they do not have them .... gave our order to someone else when we were there first. We tried to go inside and pay our Bills after we waited 15 minutes after we already asked for our checks. The lady(owner) was honestly screaming at the top of her lungs calling us names and cursing at us. I was surprised she was the owner. Veins were popping out of her neck I honestly thought she was going to explode. I would HIGHLY RECOMMENDED NEVER GOING HERE EVER.

Either they had a great review for a really bad review. We were told to be there by 11 if we wanted fish tacos so we were. They told us they had to turn the grease on at 11 and it would be 15 minutes 35 minutes later they said it won't be much longer. Fish tacos were good but I wouldn't consider them great.

Great food and service

After our first vist 4 to 5 weeks ago we knew the next time we where in Venice or passing thru we would have to stop. Our first visit visit we had breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict, my hubby had an omelette. Best we've had in a long time. This time fish Rueben and Fish and Chips. Highly recommend. Good Grub. Excellant service.😀

They were out of a lot of stuff and could only accept cash LOL
