The Lobster

This coming from a boy who grew up vacationing in Maine. The lobster here is fantastic. Make sure you get it steamed so you have it like they do in New England. And the views too are world class of the beach and pier. Service and margarita were also quality. My only wish is they didn't split the tail because I like to work for my food!

The place offers a nice range of delicious food. I liked dining here. Staff members are always helpful, pricing is convenient and the place is always clean.

This is 1 of the best upscale restaurants in Santa Monica with breathtaking ocean and sunset views . Never been disappointed. However, this time their service was too slow for some reason. Our dinner took 2.5hrs. We were only 3ppl and ordered a regular 3 course menu.

We never got to eat here , the hostess at the front counter seemed to be having a bad day. When we went in, she wanted to sit us at a very small table where we would be across from each other, we requested a table where we can sit beside each other and we were denied . I understand they thought they were going to be busy but I've never been to a restaurant that has denied us before except on Valentine's Day so we left and went someplace else. During these trying times, there are so many empty excellent restaurants , we were surprised they weren't more accommodating

Absolutely the best service of any restaurant I've been to in los Angeles. Everything here is cooked to perfection.. amazing views of the pier and the ocean and the parking lot here is safe and secure too..

I did not know lobster could taste so fresh like this fast food stop! Surprisingly very good!

The server Chris is very knowledgeable of menu. The raw oysters sampler was good, the west coast were much better Than the east coast. The shellfish pasta had great flavor, nice touch with the squid ink pasta. The lobster mashed had lobster but the potatos were orange not my favourite. Overall great experience and views.

It was amazing food. The waiter was also fantastic. Super nice and easy to get along with. Also funny which my boyfriend and I enjoy in a waiter or waitress. Good price for the quality of food! Definitely would go back!

Excellent service !! Our waiter Mike was great , knowledgeable of items on the menu. Best place I have ever taken my wife for her birthday dinner . Outstanding food . Cooked perfectly . Our last nite in LA and and the perfect way to end a vacation !!!

My husband and I ate here for dinner on Friday, Nov 15. First of all, we were seated side-by-side, about 2 feet from another couple when most of the restaurant was empty. I ordered a lobster and my husband had a pasta, along with fries as an appetizer. We were offered bottled water, not realizing we would be charged $10 for it. We ended up paying $172 for our meal that was just so-so and then about an hour later my husband was stuck in the bathroom of our hotel room, very sick! We do not recommend this place!

My wife and I thought we'd have a nice dinner at this establishment. The service was decent; however, I became severely ill shortly after dinner. I was admitted to the hospital for food poisoning. I called after getting released to speak with a manager to advise them of the situation in hopes they could address whatever may have caused it (Alaskan King Crab in this case, as this is the only thing I had that my wife did not and she was fine) and present others from getting sick. The manager was never available for a call and never returned my call after two attempts. The host that took the calls was not very concerned at all. Not that spending $300+ on a meal for two is of much concern to us, but I am more concerned about the failure to follow up. Very disappointed in this business. Ensure your food is cooked properly should you decide to go and good luck trying to speak with management.

This is cool place and the food was so good. Ambiance was great, came at sunset and great view of the ocean. Got the lobster, was really delicious, and not over priced. God service.

We sat at the bar and ordered lunch. The food and drinks were outstanding as well as the service. This place was very clean and has such a beautiful scenery.
