This place is located in the Chelsea market. There are varieties of seafood for display when you walk in. If you get to the far inside section, the lobsters are on display and you can choose which one you want. Upon ordering, they cook it for you so the lobster is super fresh and delicious. I also got the clam chowder and there are 5-6 different kinds you can choose from. The lobster was perfectly cooked, had good texture and taste.

Great price, great size, great taste! Though you have to serve yourself while standing in a limited space, I don't think you can get this kind of lobster any where else. Ordered a lobster sandwich and a medium-sized lobster for four, but it was still quite a lot for us. Lobsters are very fresh and nice, definitely recommend visiting this place if you're in NY!!

I'm from Philadelphia and sometimes we just drive up to NYC to come here only. The lobster is so fresh and super yummy. I wish there were chairs here but I'd probably just fall asleep after eat so it most likely a good thing.🙂

This is the best seafood place in the city. The also do great raw bars for parties. I come all the time to sit at the raw bar for very reasonable and high quality shell fish. The sushi is top notch. I also often get their steamed lobster and other prepared food, all of which is amazing. The other great thing to buy here is partially prepared fish— perfect for when you’re hosting a dinner party.

Definitely worth visiting once. Of course, it's in Chelsea so tables/seating can be limited. Wouldn't come here during weekend nights or around prime meal times. Just getting the lobster alone isn't very filling so I recommend getting sides of bisque or the lobster fried rice to fill you up if you're really starving. But overall, they serve a well cooked lobster and I was satisfied but not really a place I'd have cravings for

Fresh seafood with surrounding cute shops and numerous food stalls. I recommend the lobster and oyster sampler. Definitely a must-see when visiting Manhattan!

If you are like me and can’t help yourself to try any oysters passing by you then you should definitely stop here. Don’t bother choosing what kind of oyster you will eat. Just order the 12 oyster set and they will give you the freshest selection of the day. Also drink the Draft Brooklyn Sake. And be happy!

This is a casual counter-serve sea food and raw bar located in the center of Chelsea Market. They have a nice selection of oysters and langoustines. Usually crowded. Seating's often limited. If you prefer a different setting, Cull & Pistol (next door) is a full service restaurant that has many of the same raw items on their menu.

Had an entire steamed lobster for the first time today. Was expecting a bit of instructions, but I was able to dig in with some effort. The lobster meat tasted really good, but I wish I had more lemons or any sort of sauce to compliment, without having to pay 10 dollars for a small scoop.
