The Little Owl

The Little Owl is very cute and very quaint! There aren't a lot of tables inside, so make sure to get a reservation. The website says that a reservation isn't required for tables of 3 or less, so I went with two friends and they were able to squeeze us in at the bar (four seats at the bar total). The food was delicious! We had to ask two tables to move in order to get out of the restaurant, but they were good sports about it. Overall - super cute!

Popular brunch spot in the West Village, sits below the apartment shot in Friends. Everything we tried was delicious, they have a diverse menu. Standouts were the French Onion Soup and Eggplant Parm. They are known for mini meatball sliders, which were also great. Can't go wrong, seems like you need to place reservations ahead of time.

This place was good. I went there for breakfast. Food was delicious. Staff were nice.

The space was also famously used as the exterior for the fictitious Central Perk coffee shop in Friends.Ps: It’s cool to take a picture, but it’s NOT cool to write your name on the brick wall. That’s actually a crime.

We had lunch here yesterday having visited the ‘friends’ building. From start to finish it was perfect. Upon arrival our coats were taken & we were seated by the window. I Instantly loved the relaxed atmosphere. Our server was named Jessica and she was very polite & helpful! My partner chose the chicken with Brussels fries, sounds odd but he said it tasted really really good, he cleared his plate! I chose the bacon cheese burger and fries & it was by far the best burger I’ve had in New York and the fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned!

Cozy spot with wonderful food! The environment was unique without feeling like it was trying hard and the food felt genuinely Mexican while also incorporating a unique style and point of view. Staff were great. They have a fun waiting area which I won't spoil for you, and they incopote plants indoors in a cool way I would highly recommend! Get the tacos!!

Fan of tv show “friends” should stop by this great little restaurant. Many of you will recognize the building as shown on the TV show “friends” as the apartment where the whole friends cast lived at. Limited seating however great food.

The place is small, you should make a reservation if you have a big group..Good burgers, salad was great.. Staff are friendly..Directly under "Friends " apartment

Friendly staff. Pretty good food. Only downside are the tourists taking non stop pics of the building as it is the one from Friends.

My family and I visited this restaurant in the West Village on our last evening in New York and really enjoyed it. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere - the service was very good and staff very welcoming. The food was excellent - all four of us has a different starter and main course and all were delicious. The meatball sliders were a particular favourite! I’d recommend a visit if you’re in New York.

The food was decent but parts of the service were not. Though most people on staff were pleasant, there was one man with a beard (manager?) Who didn't realize we can hear people talk. I had a reservation and showed up on time. The hostess was ready to seat us, and he walked by and said "counter" to her. That's a bit odd as there was a table for two available which typically is preferable and offered first. At the least, asking our preference would be nice. Thankfully when we asked the hostess if we could sit at the table, she obliged. Anyhow, that negative experience has put me off from going back and won't be recommending to others either.
