The Juicy Crab

I went once before, I didn't like it, its not the restaurant but the location. I previously returned to the same location, 2/8/2020 and Juicy Crabs was so much better, not to mild and not to hot. My spouse and I loved it, just wish they had booth for privacy.

This place suprised the heck out of me. I visited on a Friday at 2:30pm thinking I could get a quick drink and chill in quiet because it wouldn't be busy at this time. I was wrong, the place was busy and full of life. People at the bar where cutting it up, talking smack and enjoying their Friday afternoon. Although I didnt eat, I was spying on everyone around and the food smelled great. Looked even better. After checking out the menu, I thought the prices especially for seafood, are super affordable and reasonable. Lunch specials from 12pm to 3pm are worth stopping in for. I'll be back for sure and this time I'm coming with an appetite.

Great atmosphere, staff is pleasant and the food is excellent. The live entertainment duo has a smooth jazz easy listening flavor. Nice added touch to an evening meal. You can actually have conversation without having to compete with the music.

Visited here with some co-workers Feb 28th 2020 for the 1st time and I must say it was delicious!!!!!!! The seasoning, food, atmosphere, music everything was great!!!! I will definitely be visiting back soon from live oak fl

The best flavored seafood I've tasted, with excellent customer service to top it off!!Just visited again today and yesterday lol The server named Vanessa gave the best customer service you'll ever receive. She's the friendliest, sweeties, attentive server I've ever met! She lets you know the special they have, (which you think every server would do but don't) if there was an award for best servers she would get it hands down! So if you ever visit the juicy crab ask for her. Oh yea and the food is just as Amazing as the customer service we received!

Finger licking, lip smacking, just plain delicious! This is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants. We frequent Jacksonville and this is always on our list of places we have to go to before we leave. I highly suggest ordering the “Get Your Hands Dirty” -1lb shrimp (heads off), 1lb sausage, 2 orders of hard boiled eggs (2 ea), with the “Juicy Special” sauce (in your desired heat).

The location is nice but the flavor was not that good and my crab was over cooked and mushy. They remade my crab it was better but not great...I payed $43 for 1 snow crab cluster, 9 shrimp, 8 craw-fish, 6 oysters, 1 corn, 1 potato & 2 eggs & water. I went for a birthday diner with 8 people and a 18% service charge was added. However our server Justin was great, very accommodating and deserved every penny!! The manager was great too he went above and beyond to help me! Ill try them again maybe they had a off night.

The wait was ridiculous. Nobody asked if we would like a cocktail while seated in the "waiting" area; in the MIDDLE of the restaurant. We waited for an additional 30 mins because we had NO waiter or waitress.... I only gave it 2 stars because the food was hot, fresh and the waitress was prompt and courteous. Other than that, its a negative -1.........

Wonderful food & excellent service. The iced tea was described as a cup of heaven. Everything tasted great but our favorites were the sweet meat of lobster and snow crabs; shrimps (fried & boiled) and the succulent corn. This was our first visit but definitely not our last.

So good very good portions for the price. I will def be going back

It was omg delicious. Got meal for two with shrimp, snow crabs, mussels, crawfish appraiser to plus two beers .... And it's only $67 ... Can't beat that Live music, great environment , bathroom was super clean . I'm very happy !!

We were seated quickly with a party of 18. The waitress Moriah was very friendly and took care of our needs. I had the spicy low country boil (with juicy seasoning) which included snow cluster,shrimp,sausage,corn,and potatoe.. We all enjoyed our food!

Oh my gosh! First time visiting this place and I was hooked! When I go back to Florida in May 2020, I will definitely stopped by here again! The food! The music! The atmosphere! And the server! Awesome!

This place is called the Juicy Crab and they serve steamed crab but they don't have crab folks. The food was good server friendly. One server brought a crab folk from home and let me borrow it. No combo plates.

Our food was delicious and service was very considerate. Allergies can be handled without problems. Nice. There was LOUD music playing and all the serving ware was disposable. Not our restaurant. Many of the patrons were particularly excited about the heads-on shrimp. The menu is additive - if you get 1/2 lb shrimp at $9 + 1/2 lb crab legs at $13 = $22. It's strangely depicted on the menu and it took a minute to understand what our server was describing.
