The Jolly Roger At John's Landing

Cute place but service wasnt so good. Upon entering 2 servers were messing w the TVs and didnt really acknowledge us. It took a bit to get our drinks and then after almost being done w our food we were offered refills but server never came back. We ve had this issue w every place we ve eating so far in Portland. Apparently the servers aren't big on refilling drinks in this town.

Great spot to pop in for a drink. Friendly neighborhood dive, minus the sticky dive table top. The ladies run a tight ship. The inside is clean and relaxing, good TV view, everywhere you sit you can see a screen, without it being overwhelming. Drink in peace or chat it up, the noise levels and acoustics aren't bad at all.

The burger was good. The price was right. I was a bit taken aback that they charged me 2.50 for a soda water. I have never been anywhere that charges for soda water, I hope it doesn’t become a trend. Great atmosphere for catching games.
