The Ice Cream Shop

The ice cream at this place is nothing like I have had anywhere else. The kids absolutely loved it, and the atmosphere here is awesome. It's a relatively new business, but it being in an older setting gives it kind-of a 1950's ice cream parlor feel, while being obviously modern simultaneously. The smell inside this place makes you want to have a gallon of whatever ice cream is generating it (obviously a mix of all, but you know my point). Great ice cream. Good variety of choices. There is at least one vegan option and some dairy-free options. They do their pricing by weight. A waffle cone goes up to around $3.00. You can mix and match scoopes. You can get a waffle, sugar cake cone and bowls. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant. It's in a good place downtown and next to a lot of places just by walking.

It’s always very busy, which is great! They are very efficient in orders. Ice creams quite delicious too.

So good. So busy, bit so good. Lines go fast, taste whatever ones you want. Usually some unique flavors. We hit it up every time we're in Chattanooga.

Highly recommend, I make it a point to try local ice cream on every trip. I have traveled far and wide in the US. This is hands down some of the best ice cream I have had. Whether you like inventive flavors, ultra creamy texture, or takes on old classics this is all of that and more.

Clumpies is a good local ice cream shop with friendly service and an ever changing variety of flavors. Get a free taste of something weird. On summer nights the lines get long, but it moves quickly without feeling rushed. Off-season, stop in and get a hot chocolate...with your ice cream.

Ice cream is very good as long as you don't get a $4 Sprite or even worse a $1 stripe of Magic Shell. It's seriously about $0.02 worth of a light drizzle and they charge $1.00 on 1 small scoop of ice cream for this privilege.

Fantastic Ice Cream. Many unusual flavors, two locations in Chattanooga. A must do for summertime after dark dessert and walk.
