The Hub Cafe

The hub has a very fun menu, offering various versions of some of your favorite dishes. They are best known for their brunch or breakfast items, but lunch is delicious there as well. It sits along the canal and trail near downtown Lincoln, so has a fun little view and outdoor seating. The establishment isn't large inside, but still offers a decent amount of seating. There is a menu online, but some of the items slightly change with the season.

"Yo, if you're planning to hit up Hub Cafe on a Saturday or Sunday morning, be ready for a wait of at least an hour before you get your grub. But trust me, it's worth it! I tried their huevos rancheros, and they were a solid 10/10. The atmosphere is on point, and the staff is always super friendly. Oh, and let's talk about the bathroom. They've got this amazing foam soap called Benson, and it's seriously the best-smelling soap I've ever encountered. I might just come back for that soap alone!

Surprisingly good breakfasts. Not a boatload of choices, but what they have were outstanding. We had biscuits & gravy, oj, bacon, toast and coffee. While the coffee was just good, all of the food was excellent. No wait, fast service. We’d definitely go back.

I have been here 3 times now and have had one good experience out of it, which is really unfortunate. I love the atmosphere and the ingredients used in the menu options (especially the vegetarian options), which is the only reason for the two stars as opposed to one. Two of the times I’ve been here now, it’s taken an hour+ after ordering to receive my food. I wanted to introduce my boyfriend to the Hub Café today to have a nice “breakfast” with him, but we didn’t end up receiving our food until closer to 11AM. One thing that easily could have made the long wait slightly better would have been better customer service and communication from the staff. I hate writing this but I don’t want the same thing happening to someone else!

Cute cafe in a unique location. My only complaint is the menu items are a little expensive, and there aren't smaller portions available.

Local food, dog friendly, delicious dishes, picturesque outdoor seating. A must stop in Lincoln and a weekly return for the Wednesday Farmers Market.

French toast was good. Was very disappointed that the cappuccino was overly acidic and bitter. We tolerated a few sips to get some caffeine and left the rest of the drink, was almost inedible.

After a 30 minute wait to get inside, we were told at the counter that it would be another 50 minute wait for food😳This information should have been posted on the door, you know to give paying customers the opportunity to make a different choice. We just wanted some food not to visit for the day. I'm giving three stars because the dude at the counter seemed apologetically concerned, but that's the only reason!

Phenomenal food! It seems as though they are still getting their footing on staffing and kitchen help for Sunday brunch. You may have to wait 10-15 min. for a table and 30+ minutes for your food but it is completely worth it. They have great drinks and pastries to have while waiting for the food to come out. I have also gone for dinner which was delicious and less of a wait for a table and food. Staff is very friendly but hope they can adjust to the growing crowd. This is a place I recommend to everyone!

A favorite brunch place. Great food and drinks. It's a pretty popular place though. If you're going with a large party at a popular time, be ready to wait for a table. They do have some outdoor dining but I wish they had more. All in all, this is a great place

Great food. It was my first time at this restaurant and I will go again. The reason I put 4 stars for service is I asked for no ham in my omelette and while the man was taking my order he got locked out of the computer, had to leave and then log back in. When I received my order it had ham in it. I don’t know if it was a computer glitch or his mistake.

Food was great but the wait was a little long. We are a production company on the road and it was refreshing to get healthy options for a change.

This was my very first time coming to The Hub Cafe. I was very surprised by how good the food was. I ordered a avocado toast with out the pickled onions, I preferred without pickled onion but I think it would taste good with onions. I also ordered a iced latte with caramel syrup. The food was soo good 10/10 recommend!

Very cute little place that we stumbled upon one morning. Our boys both had the French toast and I had their breakfast skillet. They also have a breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy. Talking with the owner nearly everything including the ketchup is homemade. I definitely hope to return sometime soon.
