1st time checking out the new Tiki bar out back. Great vibe, food and service! Well done!

This place is a gem. We only go to few restaurants because I cook and we eat healthy and buy the best food for us which makes challenging to fin a good restaurant. We tried this place yesterday based on their menu. They pretty much prepare everything in house, even the bread. The options are very good, the flavor was simply amazing, the presentation was outstanding and the service and the place the same. Now this restaurant has been included in our top 10 list of restaurants in FL. They even have a vegan menu. There something for everyone! We had the pomegranate sangria, the coconut lime soup, the burger, and I had the fresh fish dish with black potatoes. Everything was more than good!!!! The sangria was so refreshing and the perfect sweetness. Try this place. You won't regret! Melisse, our waitress is amazing!

Stopped by for the tiki bar drinks to go ... which were delicious!! And wound up finding a wonderful gem in Dunedin. Soup was delish! Dancing fire platter fantastic!! And Jinelle was a sweet host. Thank you for a GREAT experience!Update: aaaaand it was so yummy, we went back today for the same!!!! Just as delicious!!

Best edamame I've had since Hawaii! Also love the chicken sandwich. New outdoor area and bar is awesome.

We had the best time at The Honu's anniversary celebration. The food was creative, masterful and delicious. The atmosphere, outdoor seating, wait staff couldn't have been better. I wish I could give them ********** Stars!! Give this place a try and you'll find that they have a very diverse menu, just like the clientele. And if you like the occasional exotic 🍸 or microbrew beer, you just gotta get in there!!

The Honu is a wonderful hidden gem located steps from downtown shops. They are dog-friendly, and our waitress even exclaimed "we're overly dog friendly!" as she greeted our Border Collies. Even our shy girl loved her. This is a fantastic place to stop for lunch and a sip of something cold. Craft beer selection was wonderful and paired nicely with our main dishes. Our order was made quickly, but obviously freshly made. The dogs enjoyed their chicken & sweet potatoes meal, and we were pleasantly surprised to find their food was exactly the same as what was served to us: they obviously love pets!They had a wonderful desert selection for human and canine diners alike, however we were so full we had to pass. We will definitely be back and make this a stop on our Honeymoon Island and Clearwater Beach trips!

The Honu is superb. They turned a home into a restaurant and it feels cozy and comfortable. The food is amazing, it's delicious and magnificently plated. They offer an unsweet tea option which is out of this world. It's the Hibiscus berry green tea. I recommend you give it a try. They have an array of choice foods and introduce new ideas which serves them well. The prices are very reasonable as well.

The tiki bar was nice, with live music and friendly, efficient service. We just did apps and drinks. Food was good overall, but some odd ingredient choices and some of the food was kind of bland(pork sliders, for example, one of the three was delicious, one good, and one was just there.) Atmosphere is great, though, and I'd go back again to try more of the entrees.

Great place, quietly located steps from Main st in downtown Dunedin. The owner goes out of her way to make customers happy. The happy hour specials are a bargain. Many extras here, super dog friendly, with a special dog menu. They have a calendar of special events too. Tiki bar opening soon, as well as a new vegetarian menu coming but in the mean time I tried the bean burger and veggie stack which were both scrumptious. Staff were great what else can I say, give them a shot.

I've now been here for both lunch and dinner and enjoyed the experience both times. Service is friendly and timely. The menu is interesting and has a lot of healthy options, and the food is very fresh tasting.

This was such fun little artistic place I went to. I completely forgot the name of the dish I ordered but it was AMAZING! The floor is covered with seashells and the whole place is surrounded by beautiful arts and lights. Loved the experience.

Great food whether meat, fish or vegan preferences. Fun, colorful Tiki bar with friendly service and delicious drinks. New destination spot to bring visitors.

I have mixed feelings about this place. We had lunch about a week ago, my tacos were good but really nothing special. My son and his husband each ordered the pork lunch special and it was an odd mix of items on the plate: tasteless coleslaw, shredded pork and a small blob of sticky rice. They both agreed it was tasteless and kid’s-meal sized. Would not go back.

They run a small wait staff so the service was a little slow. Granted it was a Friday night though. The poke tuna and spam appetizers, cold ginger soup, Fire Dancer plate, Big Island salad, and macadamia nut ice cream were all out of this world.
