The Hog Pit

Came here for happy hour after work with our coworkers - drinks were good prices and food was tasty. Happy hour beers were $5?-$7 with margarita cocktails priced at $5 (not bad!) I ordered the margarita and it was pretty good. I liked that this place wasn’t too loud or crowded which was nice (compared to other restaurant/bars we’ve been to happy hour after work where you are practically shouting to hear someone next to you).

We love the Hog Pit!!! We loved the original and have just been delighted with the new spot. Great food, great space and the staff is as amazing as they are friendly. Anytime we are in the area (we love to go to the village) we make it a point to stop in. When we're in the village it's a little further walk than the original that was in the meatpacking district but well worth it. And when we go to the Garden it's close enough that we can take a walk down before or after a show. I guess we're "Hoggers" for life!! LolJoe from Fords NJ

Used to be my go-to bar when I worked in NYC. Great beer and well drink deals. Just beware of the occasional weekday night when a hoard of noisy bros take over the bar.

Excellent southern eatery, live sport with s great crowd.. staff helpful and good good.. pitcher of beer only around 15$ do a bargain.

Very cool location. Not too many people which is pretty rare in NYC. But the bartender was lovely, the food was great, and the drink selection was great too. I recommend this place if youre looking for a quick drink.

Really great times at Hog Pit. The atmosphere in there is always fun - it's very spacious with highly decorated walls, booths and tables in addition to a large bar area, and if you're feeling competitive you can beat your friends / embarrass yourself in front of your date with darts and foosball. Did I mention they sell 40s of Colt45? Now that's bang-for-buck.

The fried pickles were great, had a potato chip crunch to them, the pulled pork corn bread was great and the pulled pork sandwich was also very delicious. But the downside is you need to check the silverware to make sure they are clean. Definitely a return spot for food, especially the fried pickles.

Had a really great time. Apps were a little burnt but the entrees we're great and server was polite and attentive. Tried pickle martini - so amazed it was perfectly blended. Had 2, super fun atmosphere.

Solid place. I go for my favorite bartender, she's sooo cute and has such a sweet voice. She will be left unnamed, food isn't bad, but it isn't to die for

This place became my home away from home; the food is fantastic, the staff is even better. One of the places in NYC that I am going to miss. Please do yourself a favor and have a good time at the Hog Pit!

Had lunch at The Hog Pit last week with a group of people and everything from the food to the service was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back!

Was here 2015 in May with friends and wife. Great food on big plates, great beer in pitcher Bit minus for plastic glasses though Food was really tasty, had plate filled with pulled pork, sausage, beans, curly fries and ribs. Big thumbs up for a easy place that was great to try feels like a genuine American bar, would like to go back. Didn't have Google maps at the time being there hence the late review

This is a great neighborhood spot. They have a great selection of draft beer and liquor. The kitchen cranks out some great food. There is usually a lively crowd hanging out and it is a perfect spot to watch your favorite game. The owners and staff are very accommodating and know how to take care of their guests. I highly recommend going here!

My go to spot every Friday night. Out of the countless times I've been in there, I maybe had 2 bad experiences. But nonetheless I love when I walk into a bar for the 2nd time and they ask if I want the same as last time, they remembered from one visit days before, that's awesome. The food is great, the wings when they had the multiple sauces were great, but they still have great wings.
