Very nice little kitchen and shop. There's delicious fresh choices of fresh vegetables and salads. I just needed a light dinner and this just hit the spot. I'll definitely be back to try a dish with meat in it!

We had a great first experience at The Heights! We went for a weekday brunch on Black Friday. The food was delicious and very well presented. The staff were welcoming and the service was great too.We started with the soft boiled egg. It was perfectly cooked, and the homemade bread that came with was amazing. We also tried the whitefish, which was very tasty. It was nice and flakey, with the perfect amount of crisp on the skin. The croque madame was delicious and every bit as rich as you'd expect with an expertly prepared sunny-side up egg.

This has become our go-to restaurant favorite and we have visited numerous times. Each visit offered a different menu option that was both delightful and unique and was served with little wait and a lovely presentation. The best part: a friendly accommodating staff and stand-out service. Cannot rave about The Heights enough and can't wait to try out the outdoor patio this summer!

My friends and I had chicken and sides at The Heights and unfortunately we got sick all 5 of us with one person pregnant. Due to this experience unfortunately I can't recommend this place.

Quaint newish choice to brunch and dine.. like brunch better personally. It’s lovely low key place for times you just want to be off-downtown dining. Great selection of foods and some locally sourced items too. They have a mini grocery area to buy wines and other stuff too. No parking-so street parking is your best bet. Been lucky with that but maybe because of times I choose to go. Perfect for people with kiddos - always there is a table or more with kids. If that’s not your thing be warned and you are welcome! Friendly staff and can’t wait for backyard to open to sit in fresh air. It’s one of the best perks of this place. Enjoy!

Every meal at The Heights is simple and flawlessly executed. I always go for breakfast and the scrambled eggs are simply the best in Madison.

This is my favorite restaurant! Casual and excellent, unpretentious yet sophisticated. Every neighborhood should be so lucky as to have a spot like this.

Super creative and delicious dinners and lunches, and GREAT espresso drinks (one of the best in Madison). Great for a nice evening out, or for a family outing. Elegant atmosphere inside and out (great patio during summer) and friendly staff. A truly great neighborhood restaurant.

Amazing spot, amazing food!

I had such a great experience at this charming neighborhood restaurant. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and the staff were very pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and my experience. I will definitely be back to visit soon.

Food is great here- one thing I want to comment is it is obvious that the owners use high quality ingredients for reasonable price. I saw some comments on portion size but I am a big eater and I think portion size is fine. I don’t think you can expect more with the price you are paying for portions and quality. My only complaint is though the portion size for coffee is indeed small. I can understand food, but not so much on drinks. But anyway, I would not deduct a star because of it. I think it’s a great local business and I still fully support this.

Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Awesome atmosphere, delicious dishes, great customer service. Kudos.

Cute little cafe. It's got a nice french bistro vibe though they serve new American style food. We went early (around 9) and it wasn't very busy which was nice. I got the breakfast sandwhich; it was terrific! My girlfriend got the pork hash which was also amazing. Reasonable portion sizes and the soundtrack was on point. I definitely recommend it if you're in the area.
