The Grill Room and Bar

Ryan was absolutely AMAZING and took care of me and my parents, he is so knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. The food was spectacular and my expectations were exceeded. Highly recommend going here!!!

Before I had children my wife and I used to frequent this establishment often. I always get the Cheese Plate to start and am ALWAYS satisfied. Their selections on the plate are complimentary to the other items on the plate. For my main dish, I get the Hanger Steak and Mash. I've had it 7 times and it is always satisfying. Not really a family establishment but they do have high chairs. It's kind of geared towards the adult night life scene. The lunch menu differs greatly from the dinner menu so be sure to check before you go. Great place though.

A bit upscale. Nothing special, nothing bad. Pretty much what you wold expect based on the name of the restaurant.

Great service, great grilled fare and local brews. Can build build your own feast from the a la carte menu of proteins, sides and sauces or go a prematched entree selection.I opted for a la carte Duck Breast

Great place for a good meal. One of Portland's "Rooms", the quality is what you'd expect from the organization. The fries here are to die for and the steaks are cooked excellently. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

Going to start this one out by saying this is by far the best Ribeye that Portland has to offer. To start, the bread and olive oil were delicious, I was tempted to go for another order! I ordered the Bone-in Ribeye (24oz) entree with horseradish mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were a perfect accent for the steak and the ribeye was seasoned and cooked to perfection. But honestly none of that even matters if the marbeling of the steak isn't on point, right? Well.... IT WAS ! Glad we decided to give this place a try, it was well worth it! We will be returning again for some more delicious steaks!

Bad service but really a bad server. They don’t cook meat meat to your likening they cook it how they say. “med rare is more rare” well then maybe make Med rare Med rare. Our server also wanted to be somewhere else. Otherwise it’s a cool place. Great bread decent atmosphere. Rare is rare. Med rare should be Med rare and so on... not sure if Portland has better steak houses but if so go there.

We used to frequent The Grill Room but had not been in a while. The service was still excellent. The food was not the same. The shrimp bang-bang is now much smaller shrimp and way less tasty than previously. The pork belly, although still described the same on the menu, is prepared differently than before - and just my opinion not in a good way. The steak, although cooked medium when we requested medium well, was still very good - I just prefer my steak to be warm throughout and not still red. All in all this won't stop us from visiting again but will probably try a few different menu items instead of sticking with our tried and true but now changed choices.

Great restaurant, the prices were very fair and the service was comparable to a fancy gourmet restaurant. The Screaming Viking cocktail was very good, and the focaccia bread is OUTSTANDING. Will be returning whenever I can.

Found this awesome place today. I had the cheeseburger pizza which was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the hotdogs which were huge. Will definitely be back when passing through. Delicious food, good draft beer and wine selections.

Whenever I crave a perfect steak I go to the grill room. The service was perfect and the sides are favorites for a good reason. The spinach with garlic is just great. Always a great meal and service. The dining room is very comfortable. I highly recommend it
