The Grill on the Alley

The food was Soo good. The staff was so nice. They recommended the kind of steaks we would like. And it was perfect. The appetizers with French Onion Soup and Shrimps Cocktail was yum too. Saba our table In-charge was an absolute darling.

Good atmosphere, service and food.

A little pricey, food reminds me of bucca di beppo with higher prices and was a little awkward but ultimately this place is the backdrop to an evening and not the destination. Great if you're on foot and don't want to walk very far from your hotel.

Delicious, huge and piping hot chicken pot pie. Creamy filling with peas, mushrooms and huge chunks of chicken. Flaky, eggy pastry crust cover.Try the Irish coffee with whipped cream. Shout out to the staff who served me breakfast then lunch and cleaned up my table when I spilled my entire drink!

This site is my first choice place. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. when I feel like having a decent lunch, this restaurant comes straight to my head. exeptionalgorgeous and all sorts of food and a large menu.professional team, and great ambience. And very important, the price is affordable. I recommend this restaurant with great pleasure.

Delicious food. Disappointed that they would not substitute one side for another even though they were the same price.

Got there when it was empty and we had reservations anyway so we didn't have issues with the wait staff. Super nice waitress. Food tasted delicious and the place looked really nice. Why did I rate it one star? Two words: food poisoning.

The mash potato side was a little salty, otherwise the salmon and white butter sauce was absolutely rich, filling and delicious! 😋

Great place for late-night drinks! We had a couple of martinis and and their shrimp cocktail appetizer. We were right off of Michigan Avenue and it was very easy to get in and out of this car. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. We plan to come back on another occasion

Stayed in hotel this week and had dinner at this restaurant. Food was fine, lobster was much better than the fillet which didn’t match its price. I however caught food poisoning from the meal, waking up about 3 hours later and spending the evening at the toilet. I called the front desk to inform them and they were excellent. I was however disappointed that no one from the restaurant reached out. The front desk manager confirmed that they informed the restaurant and was also disappointed they never reached out. Not worth the price and not worth the food poisoning.

So I had made reservations on Valentine’s Day. When we arrived, we were barely greeted by the host. To be quite honest he had no interest in helping us. We sat at our table and waited 45 min for water, we had no server, I unfortunately had to pull a waitress from a different section to take our orders since no one seemed to have any interest. What make it worse is, this was the night that I had plan to propose, unfortunately the situation/vibe was off since we arrived. Will not be coming back.

Service was impeccable and the staff were fantastic!

Good place for a steak, aged strip was excellent, but their use of non standard terms for different cuts required explanation. Also note they use the newer USA standards for doneness.

We stopped here for our final dinner, it was a block from our hotel. Prices are fairly high (35ish+) per plate, but the portions are generous and the food was excellent. The steak was cooked to order and the mashed potatoes were very good. We split a 16oz steak and two sides. Ended up around 100 dollars total with tip and a drink each.Overall rating of 4.5 stars rounded up.

Had a reservation for Valentine's day. Dinner was delicious from the bone in pork chop and chicken pot pie. The bacon mac n cheese was nicely done. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu.This was our 1st time dining here and staying at the westin. Had great time i will definitely come back.
