The Greenwood Inn is a family-owned and managed full-service restaurant that was established in 1954. We've been called a RI Institution, and we're very proud and appreciative of that. Our menu is quite varied but we're known for our seafood (baked stuffed shrimp, fried calamari, clams casino and more), our prime rib, veal parmesan, homemade chicken soup, variety of dishes made from the fresh turkeys we roast on premises each day. Our staff and service is exceptional, prices are reasonable, location is conveniently off I-95 (near airport, train station and several nearby hotels), and ambiance is beautiful with a large fieldstone fireplace for cooler months and outdoor patio for warmer months. Our kitchen serves till midnight most nights, our private room accommodates up to 52 people (perfect for bridal/baby showers, birthday parties, company meetings and other events). Our bar scene is unlike any other - very friendly and welcoming. Live music usually starts at 9pm on Saturdays. Takeout is available, and we have several tv monitors throughout our bar and dining areas. Thank you for your interest in the Greenwood Inn.

Great food, Great prices. We went last night and there were 6 of us. Our waiter was Eddie. To use his words...he was FABULOUS. What a great personality. He had us laughing the entire time. We frequent the restaurant but I would definately ask for Eddie.

I was recently there to attend a friend's birthday party. 🎂â¤ðŸŽ‚â¤ðŸŽ‚ Had a great time there!!!We were in the private banquet area for the party. Not huge,but good size.Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and very nice polite staff. The Greenwood Inn has been there for as long as I can remember. I have eaten there numerous times.The food is consistently good. If you're in the area, it's a good place for lunch or cocktails and dinner Prices are reasonable..

I took mom to Greenwood Inn for dinner last Friday, she had clams zuppa for appetizer, I had the snail salad. Both were good. I had the full prime rib for dinner which was great, mom was going to have the swordfish, which came as salmon, o spoke to our waiter, at first he was insistent I ordered salmon. Then he came to apologize when he checked the order placed, this was customer service at its best - I never get any apologies anymore, since good customer service has been rare. Good job to our waiter!
