The German Cafe

About

We have been blessed with 34 years in the same location at The Cotton Exchange beside the wonderful Two Sisters Bookery! We could not have done it without our wonderful customers through the years. Our mother Alice had the idea in 1985 and enlisted the entire family to make a dream come true. To our past and our future patrons, PROST! Harvey Hudson & Caroland McFarlane, proprietors, welcome your visit if you're in Wilmington, N.C. or the surrounding area.

The best food I have had during my recent trip to Wilmington. The Cheese Sampler Platter was an excellent appetizer. The chicken and wurst main courses were very flavorful and included some incredibly good vegetables. For dessert the triple chocolate raspberry cake was the perfect finally to a fantastic meal. All of this while sipping on some fine German beer made this visit a very memorable experience.
