Never disappoints. All dishes are exquisite with something for all pallets. Reasonable healthy options to bypass the overly stuffed feeling afterwards. IRA word because it's simple yet fancy, healthy yet not really, exquisite yet basic in so many ways.

This restaurant is all about service and quality! The jerk pork Benedict was excellent! A nice jerk rub and smoked to perfection. They're not only wanting to make sure you're satisfied with your meal but they take an interest in your experience in the city and are willing to offer suggestions. Well done Gage Brothers!

The Gage is a go-to for lunchtime. Food quality and presentation are excellent, and the libations from the bar are noteworthy. The staff make a tough serving situation look effortless.

Staff from reception, to bar, to table were all friendly, polite and informative when asked for assistance. The service was of a decent pace so that I didn't feel like I was waiting or rushed. Bar tender and wait staff gave me honest opinions about food and wine choices. Menu was part traditional and some modern twists. Food was very yummy. We sat at a booth and the noise level was decent. (I hear that the back part of the restaurant, where there are more dining tables, can be quite loud.)

Right on Michigan Avenue. Lot of energy in the place. I like that vibe. I had the spicy chicken sandwich. It had enough spice to be flavorful, but not overwhelming. I recommend it. The service was excellent.

I love this place! I have never had friendlier service. We had the best seat in the house - a corner table so we could enjoy the view. The food was terrific. The manager paid attention to us and I think something very special is going on at this near -to-the-art-institute Chicago restaurant! I meet friends in this place many times a year! This is the best place to dine. I go to this spot many times. The meals are just great, the crew is welcoming and the charge is good. I like eating in this spot for a decent supper.

A good but pricey option for a weekend brunch in the Loop. Pretty decent food, but nothing remarkably special.

I liked the decor. Presentation of food was awesome. Great services. Everything came of kitchen was fresh and flavorful. Staff were nice.

Nice place for team or client lunches. Today I had a really nice prepared soup and sammie combo: blackened sea bass was well seasoned and the cream soup was rich without being too heavy, fries were perfectly crisp. Service was quick, they had us in and out in time to get back to the office.

Nice restaurant. Not clearly informed about the price difference for a customized order. Excessive charge for the dish.

My daughter and I had lunch here today for our annual mother daughter Chicago Christmas excursion. The Gage was wonderful. I had the fish and chips which were delicious. My daughter had a cheeseburger which she said was one of the best she ever had. Excellent experience, excellent food and service.

I can't speak to their other meals because we only ate there for brunch on the recommendation of a friend. But, what I can tell you about that is that it has now ruined brunch for me for a long time. Living 12 hours away, we won't be back for a while and it was something to behold. Service amazing, food delish, and I can't believe that you can get corned beef hash that good outside of NYC. But, we'll definitely be back. Loved it!

Great urban setting. Wonderful bar and staff. Historic building. Places like this is why we love Chicago.
