The Freighthouse Restaurant

Great food service. Lightning was really low and awesome. The atmosphere was fabulous and the accutraments are tastefully. Food portions are quite large. I would definitely go there again.

A must if you are in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. From the friendly staff to the delicious steaks and seafood, this restaurant does not disappoint. Make sure to save room for one of their delicious ice cream drinks!

We really enjoyed this place. We showed up at quarter to 9:00 even though they stopped serving at 9:00. Nonetheless the host and the server were both very happy to see us and they served us very nicely. We ate at the salad bar and shortly thereafter our food came out. The drinks were delicious and the serving proportions were perfect. That being said my serving proportion was more than I could eat in one sitting. However it's going to make great leftovers tomorrow. I got the kabobs and they were super tender and all the vegetables were perfectly charred. I'll definitely be coming back.

This restaurant has superb service as well as delicious meals. My favourite place around town. The meals came out quick and the rates are reasonable. Recommended.

The Freighthouse has great atmosphere. The service was excellent as was the food. You can't find a bigger, better plate of king crab legs anywhere. Oh, and I don't think I've ever seen so many bottles behind one bar before! There was a good local band playing Friday night also.

The atmosphere was great! The building is beautiful & historic. We sat upstairs & they seated the two of us in the perfect quiet corner. Got a grasshopper to share for dessert & it was delicious. We enjoyed our evening very much
