The Fish Peddler on Foss Waterway

I ordered the Salmon BLT and Cajun Chowder. Let's start with the soup, It was to die for. After my first bite I immediately regretted ordering the smaller snack size. It was one of those tastes that instantly had me thinking about how I could cook it up back home. Next up on the list is the Salmon BLT. I'm a little torn because the flavor and ingredients were all on point. The first few bites were amazing. Unfortunately, as the sandwich sat, the salmon juices made the bottom bread unbearably soggy. Combine the wet gooey bread with a fishy after taste and I couldn't finish it.If you could pat the salmon dry and possibly find a less porous bread you'd have a complete hit. Until next time. I'd love to try other stuff on the menu.

The lobster roll is awesome! Shrimp taco super tasty! The bartender and drinks were fantastic.

First time going here was a great experience. Staff members were extremely friendly and prompt. The king salmon I had was perfectly cooked. The clam chowder I had for an appetizer was one of the better ones I've had in a while. Prices were really good considering the location. And plenty of free parking at the restaurant. We'll be back again soon!

My 2 sons took me here for my birthday, yesterday. The food and the service was second to none! You have to go to this place!

Great seafood! They removed fresh seafood counter and added a huge bar. I guess they should remove market from the name now.

This place is amazing! The food is a great combination of high quality and not high pricing. The staff know their food with good suggestions when asked. Awesome Bloody Mary! Try the oyster shooter with a float of pepper vodka! 🤓🤓🤓

Go during Happy Hour! I got this "mini bloody Mary" for $5, and it was loaded with pickled vegetables and a clam, with a bacon salt rim. I had the stew and my husband had crab mac and cheese, both were huge portions and very good! Fun atmosphere, cool location, and during the summer you can sit outside.

A must stop when you come to Tacoma. The service from Michael was excellent. We had fish nachos and beer on tap. They have a happy hour from 3pm. to 6pm.

I liked the atmosphere of this little restaurant by the water in Tacoma. The service was great, friendly staff, food came quick and they always kept my cup full. The salmon was fantastic, I just wish the portions were a little larger. I also had some kind of caramel apple desert that was so good I almost ordered a second one. The prices are reasonable compared to other Tacoma waterfront restaurants. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out if you haven't yet.

We showed up at 5:30 and didn't get our food till about 7.. we watched people come and go while my wife and I waited, the food was not great and was definitely not worth over $100 we paid. The only reason we stayed and waited was because it was such a nice day and we were not in a hurry.. Thanks but no thanks Fish Peddler, we will not be coming back.

I just have to say "Wow". Absolutely everything, top to bottom, was fantastic. Prices are reasonable for the quality delivered, service was excellent, responsive without hovering. Our server, Mattie, was perfect. We will be back, often, and with friends.

Spectacular setting, views, and food! Indoor and outdoor seating along the waterfront add to your dining experience! The menu has a great selection....to include grilled or seared catch-of-the-day. Yummy! A great list of adult beverages, to include draft local craft beers. Super attentive staff who really want to ensure your culinary event is special! Easy access from the road, but enough distance to not hear road traffic. 5-Stars! 🦈🍺
