The Fireside Restaurant

My friend introduced me to this restaurant. I absolutely loved it! I was so pleased with the service (I really wish I could recall my waiters name - I'll look for my receipt;), and the vibe. I ordered the portobello sandwich which was delish! My husband looks very forward to returning with me!

Great cozy place that had been around for decades. Service is usually on point with servers very engaged and polite. Menu has a lot of different things that should satisfy everyone's appetite. Good size portions - I dont think I ever walked out hungry or not satisfied.

Love the fish and chips! Hubby had shepherd's pie! Awesome service! Great place to meet friends! We'll be back!!

It is located in a quiet neighborhood off the main streets. They have a wide variety of American foods including salads, pastas burgers and steaks. I was impressed by the wide selection of beer and modest selection of wines. The prices were moderate and overall a very good value for the dollar. I would like to come back and visit the outdoor Beer Garden in the spring or summer.

One of the cutest and largest outdoor Chicago patio spots! Outdoor seating available in the front as well as a charming, plant and flower filled large back patio. The perfect place to sit on a warm summer night. Delicious flavors and a great selection of drinks. Also great street parking in the area which is always a plus in Chicago. This place is a hidden gem!

Food is good and fairly priced, good selection of drinks.

Fireside knocked it out of the park! We hosted a bridal shower this past week and it was perfect. The staff was beyond attentive and accommodating! The food was delicious, served hot and on time!They helped us set up and made the event so special for our bride to be. Fireside is not just a bar....as a long time customer of the bar and restaurant I was not disappointed with their hospitality for our party of 35!

Great neighborhood place with a nice variety of seating areas - they have tons of cozy corners in the patio. Great draft list, and a good selection of meals. Wait staff was a little awkward at first, but warmed up to us!

One of the best burgers you can get. Tots are great. Calamari is excellent as well. 100% get that burger. Edit this was delivery. I dont know how it can get better eating in, but i will soon find out.

I typically like this place, and still do, but the service wasn't great....although I think the bartender was the only person there taking care of everyone. A few times we couldn't find her when we needed a drink, or something else.Food was mediocre at best. Much better when we went for brunch to see Santa!

Come in all the time with my boyfriend. He works crazy hours so I like now we can have a cute date night @ midnight eating and drinking. Highly recommended

One of the best late night places for food and drinks in Chicago. Also has an awesome patio.

Very good setting for closing out a Sunday outing with a satisfying late morning~afternoon plate variety. The fireplace provides great ambience but without much other heat today, bring a coat if a freezee.Enjoyed my "Butcher" breakfast meat/egg plate thoroughly washed down with a couple of stout beers. Will return.

I actually enjoy their dishes and customer service, fantastic location very close to my house. The cashiers are always welcoming. Highly recommended.
