The Fat Donkey Ice Cream and Fine Desserts

Best place to get Ice Cream on the beaches of Florida. I love it. The statue of Fat Donkey is Amazing, and it’s not far from the beach at all.

It is one of the best places in the area. The only down fall is the parking. We went at 7 pm and it was quick. The awesome cashiers was fast and sweet. She saw my husband is military and gave us a discount! Plus warm churros icecream sandwiches and jar desserts!

Plenty of ice cream choices (including gluten free options) to satiate a sweet tooth. Aside from the both regular and soft serve flavors you have multiple cone choices that include a pretzel cone as well as chocolate chip cookie one. Quick service, the cookies & cream flavor does not disappoint.

Great spot to stop and grab an ice cream cone. Easy to find from the beach, and the ice cream was delicious.

Best ice cream! So, smooth and creamy. I had the mahi, goodness can't remember the name. It was a coconut ice cream with macadamia nuts, and chocolate and butterscotch swirl. I don't like butterscotch, but I couldn't even taste it. Also, had a pretzel cone. It was unique and different, loved all the salt on it! Only down side, it is pricey, one scoop on a pretzel cone was over 6 dollars. A must visit while in cocoa beach!

Love the ice cream and customer service. Stopped in after a visit to Aquatic center. They were kind friendly. Put my ice cream in a bowl so I could eat it more easily in the car. I remember the day. It was hit and the ice cream was melting. I jumped in the car and turned on the air. It was so tasty. The fat donkey is a local favirite.

So delicious. This will be worth your visit. Every. Time. They have a window to order at, and sometimes it gets super busy, but usually it’s worth the wait. I love the praline ice cream and the coffee one. They have popsicles with gummy bears frozen inside that the kids love. I want to try one of those shakes that has a whole slice of key lime pie one day.

Great ice cream but it took a while. Only one person in the place with families waiting.

Love every scoop we have ever gotten here, MaiKai Coconut is the bomb and loved the scoop of Cookie Dough I just finished, friendly staff and awesome ice cream. Dangerously close to my in-laws' place.

What a hidden gem!!! I've been going to Cocoa Beach and the surrounding restaurants forever and was recently told of this place so we checked it out. Hands down they know customer service and have some of the best desserts in the area. If you are in the area and need a snack this is definitely a place to check out!

Cocoa Beach institution. They just added a tiki hut to the front to make waiting to order more comfortable.
